New Delhi: The Delhi Teachers University (DeTU) has successfully organised a Faculty Development and Enrichment Program titled New Dimensions: Indian Knowledge Traditions in the Light of Developed India @2047 from January 08 to January 12, 2024.
The online program was organised under the guidance of Delhi University Vice Chancellor, Professor Dhananjay Joshi to bridge the gap between ancient Indian knowledge and contemporary education in line with the NEP 2020.

The DeTU FDP covered sessions on prominent academicians speaking about the principles, concepts, and potential of the Indian Knowledge Systems. It further explored the Indian Knowledge Systems' historical evolution and its importance in today’s world.
The opening session was held with Professor Hrushikesh Senapathy, former Director of NCERT. The workshop focused on Vedic literature, Upanishads, Darshanas, the Gurukul educational system as well as the application of ancient teaching methods in modern classrooms.
