Dibrugarh University (DU) has scheduled Round 1 counselling for BTech 2026 admission. The counselling will take place at DUIET on July 17, 2026. DU has also extended the online application deadline to July 10, 2026. Candidates can apply through the official portal at dibru.ac.in.
Round 1 covers BTech and BTech lateral entry seats at DUIET. DUIET is the engineering wing of Dibrugarh University in Assam. It runs four undergraduate engineering programmes across core and applied streams.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Candidates must meet the following criteria to apply for BTech at DUIET.
- Cleared 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Minimum 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- Reserved category candidates need 40% aggregate marks.
- Valid CEE Assam 2026 or JEE Main 2026 score.
- Age between 17 and 21 years on the cut-off date.
- SC and ST candidates get 3 years age relaxation.
- Applicant must hold Indian citizenship.
- The application fee is Rs 1,000 for all candidates.
