GGSIPU has opened MBA Counselling 2026 Round 2 fresh registration for CAT 2025 and CMAT 2026 candidates. The last date to apply is July 23, 2026 and Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on July 24, 2026.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has opened MBA Round 2 registration for admission to the 2026-27 academic session. GGSIPU released the official announcement on July 21, 2026.
Candidates with a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 score can apply. Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026 scoreholders are also eligible. The complete counselling process will be conducted online through ipu.admissions.nic.in.
The deadline for fresh registration and choice filling is July 23, 2026. The GGSIPU MBA Round 2 seat allotment result will be released on July 24, 2026.
Round 2 allows new eligible candidates to join the merit list. Existing candidates who selected the Float option can also participate to seek an upgrade to a higher-preference seat.
GGSIPU offers the MBA programme through its affiliated management institutes across Delhi. Programme Code 101 is used for MBA admissions.

GGSIPU MBA Round 2 Counselling Fee
The counselling participation fee is non-refundable. However, it will be adjusted against the first-year tuition fee after final admission.

Who Can Apply for GGSIPU MBA Round 2 2026?
Applicants must possess a valid CAT 2025 or CMAT 2026 scorecard.
Seats will initially be offered to CAT 2025 scoreholders according to their merit position. CMAT 2026 candidates will be considered if seats remain vacant after exhausting the CAT merit list.
Candidates who did not complete registration during Round 1 can also submit a fresh application in Round 2.

Candidates should keep the following scanned documents ready before starting the online registration process:
- CAT 2025 or CMAT 2026 admit card and scorecard
- Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
- Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
- Graduation mark sheets
- Provisional or final graduation degree
- SC, ST, OBC or EWS category certificate, wherever applicable
- Delhi Region certificate, wherever applicable
- Passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format
- Aadhaar card for identity verification

How to Register for GGSIPU MBA Round 2 Counselling?
Follow the steps below to complete the GGSIPU MBA Round 2 registration:
- Visit the official admission portal at ipu.admissions.nic.in.
- Click on the MBA Round 2 Fresh Registration link.
- Enter the required personal and academic details.
- Provide the correct CAT 2025 or CMAT 2026 score details.
- Upload the required educational and category documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the applicable counselling participation fee using net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
- Select preferred MBA colleges and programmes in order of priority.
- Lock the submitted choices before July 23, 2026.

How to Fill and Lock Choices in Round 2?
Candidates must select their preferred colleges and MBA programmes carefully. They should fill in the maximum number of valid choices available to improve their chances of seat allotment.
Choices must be arranged in the correct order of preference. The counselling system will allot the highest available preference based on the candidate’s merit rank, category and seat availability.
Choices that are not manually locked before the deadline may be automatically locked by the system. Once choices are locked, candidates may not be allowed to edit or rearrange them.

How to Check GGSIPU MBA Round 2 Seat Allotment Result?
The GGSIPU MBA Round 2 seat allotment result will be published on the official admission portal on July 24, 2026.
Follow these steps to check the result:
- Visit ipu.admissions.nic.in on July 24, 2026.
- Click on the MBA Round 2 Seat Allotment Result link.
- Log in using the registration number and password.
- Check the allotted college and MBA programme displayed on the screen.
- Download and save the seat allotment letter for the admission and reporting process.
Round 2 is the last major online counselling window before spot rounds. Fresh candidates who missed Round 1 can still enter the merit list. Existing Round 1 float candidates can also upgrade to a better allotted seat.
