January 14, 2021: Guru Nanak Dev University(GNDU) has decided to conduct semester exams both in the offline and online mode after its decision to conduct offline exams till January 27, 2021, was disputed by the students.
GNDU has been conducting offline exams for all its courses since December 2020. Pertaining to the Covid-19 pandemic, the university has allowed students to appear for the exams online through National Testing Agency (NTA) by registering themselves online.
GNDU’s Controller of Examinations, Dr Manoj Kumar, said that the university has a total of 40 departments that have been conducting offline exams successfully since December 2020. Students, objecting to appear for offline exams, can do it online by registering on the university website.
The registration link will be shared with the students interested and the exam will be conducted through NTA. The university will not be a party to this process, he added.
