HRD Minister Forms Panel To Review Situation To Conduct JEE Main and NEET Entrance Exam
The HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said on July 2, 2020 that a panel will be reviewing the situation for conducting medical and engineering exams NEET and JEE.
Many parents and students have raised concerns about conducting exams in July, amid a spike in COVID-19 cases across the country.

Nishank said, "Looking at the prevailing circumstances and the requests received from the students and parents for JEE Main and NEET exams to be conducted in July, a committee consisting of officials from the National Testing Agency (NTA) and other experts have been advised to review the situation and submit the recommendations latest by July 3, 2020."
The Medical entrance exam NEET is scheduled on July 26, 2020, and the Engineering entrance exam JEE will be held between July 18 to July 23, 2020.
