New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has recently released the Merit List for admission to its Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP). Candidates can check the merit list through the official website at ignou.ac.in.

As per IGNOU, eligible candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list are instructed to access the admission portal at ignou-itep.samarth.edu.in for application submission and online payment process. 

These candidates have been given their usernames and passwords via their registered email addresses. The admission will be confirmed upon meeting eligibility criteria, and there will be no extension to the final date.

The School of Education at IGNOU provides admissions for the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP), encompassing B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., and B.Com. B.Ed courses.

Steps to Download IGNOU ITEP Merit List 2023

Candidates who registered for the admission process can check and download the merit list by following the steps mentioned below: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in.

Step 2: From the homepage, click on the latest link available for “Merit List for Admission in ITEP” under the announcement section. 

Step 3: IGNOU ITEP Merit List 2023 will appear on the next screen. 

Step 4: Check the merit list carefully and download the same for future reference. 

Providing distance education to over 30 lakh students in India and abroad, IGNOU operates through its 21 Schools of Studies, 67 Regional Centres, nearly 2667 Learner Support Centres, 810 faculty members, and 29 foreign institutes. IGNOU admissions occur in two cycles, namely January and July each year. Direct admission to most courses is granted based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. For programs such as B.Ed, B.Sc Nursing, M.Phil, and Ph.D., IGNOU conducts entrance examinations.
