IIM Ahmedabad Opens MBA PGPX 2027-28 Admissions at iima.ac.in; Check Round 2 Deadline

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) has opened admissions for the Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (MBA-PGPX) 2027-28 batch. Applications are live on the official portal at iima.ac.in.

Round 1 applications closed on September 2, 2026. Round 2 applications remain open. The Round 2 application deadline is November 23, 2026. Candidates may apply only once across both rounds.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA-PGPX one-year, full-time residential programme will commence in April 2027. Applicants need a valid GMAT or GRE score. The application fee is Rs 10,000.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

The eligibility conditions for MBA-PGPX 2027-28 are strict. All conditions are measured as of March 31, 2027. The programme targets working professionals with mid-career experience.

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 15 years of formal education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4).
• Minimum age of 25 years as of March 31, 2027. There is no upper age limit.
• Minimum four years of full-time work experience after graduation.
• Valid GMAT or GRE score taken within the last five years.
• Only test-centre-based scores are accepted. Online or take-home exam scores are not valid.

GMAT Focus Edition scores are also accepted. The earliest acceptable test date for Round 2 applicants is November 23, 2021.

PGPX Programme Fee Structure

Entry scholarships of up to 25 per cent are available for diverse cohorts. Graduation scholarships of up to 15 per cent are also offered.

What Is the Selection Process?

The selection process has multiple stages. Each stage is evaluated independently. Only shortlisted candidates move forward.

1. Online application with GMAT or GRE scores and resume.
2. Essay round with a 48 to 72-hour submission window for shortlisted candidates.
3. Personal interview with a faculty panel.
4. Final offer based on the consolidated evaluation.
