IIM Bangalore's Executive MBA Program Ranked Among Top 50 B Schools in QS Rankings

In the recently announced QS World University Rankings, IIM Bangalore has been ranked among the top 50 management institutions for its 2020 Executive MBA programme.

IIM Bangalore is ranked 36th in the prestigious Quacquarelli Symonds ranking.

In the Asia-Pacific region, it took 9th place, i.e. it was ranked among the top 10 best management institutes for the program.

In addition to IIM Bangalore, the list has also been drawn up by two other Indian institutes.

The Indian School of Business ranked among the top 100 in 81st place, while the Indian School of Business and IIM Kozhikode ranked 15 + in the Asia Pacific region.

IIM Kozhikode, however, could not make it to the top 100 in the overall list.

This year, the QS World University Rankings provided a most comprehensive overview of Executive MBA rankings for a total of 161 programs. In this year's Quacquarelli Symonds rankings, IIM Bangalore was awarded 'a particularly high score for thought leadership.'

IIM Bangalore offers its Executive MBA program on weekends, allowing professionals to pursue executive studies without having to pause their careers.

Internationally, The Wharton Schoolin the United States has been ranked the Best Business School in the Executive MBA program.

The second position was awarded to IESE Business School in Spain, while the third position was awarded to HEC Paris. MIT Sloan, the United States and London Business School, along with the others, are the top five.

On the other hand, for the third year in a row in the Asia-Pacific region, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (London, Hong Kong) has remained the top ranking.

Second place was occupied by INSEAD (Abu Dhabi, Singapore) while the NUS Business School, Singapore, was third, followed by the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Nanyang Business School (Singapore) were fourth and fifth, respectively.

The QS Employer Survey and the Academic Survey account for 30% and 35% of the ranking weight according to the ranking method used.

Other criteria for rankings include the Executive Profile of the Institute, career outcomes and diversity.
