Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode officially welcomed 601 students to its flagship PGP, PGP LSM, PGP Finance, and PhD programmes to begin the academic year 2023–2024.

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode officially welcomed 601 students to its flagship PGP, PGP LSM, PGP Finance, and PhD programmes to begin the academic year 2023–2024.
IIMK's official statement claims that the programme has accepted students from a variety of backgrounds. 45% of the 601 students were female candidates. The PGP-LSM programme has the most female applicants (52%), followed by the PGP programme has 48% female applicants, and the PhD programme has 47% female applicants.
Five NRIs are among the 12 international students who have enrolled at the institute through the GMAT and CAT. The students come from Germany, the UAE, Oman, the USA, the UK, and Nepal. The flagship PGP programme is open to all international students.
IIM-K is now accepting its first batch of international students. There are 58% non-engineering students this year, including those with backgrounds in science, humanities, arts, commerce, medicine (MBBS), and chartered accounting. Sixty-seven percent of the class had previous work experience.
45 of the pupils are from Kerala. Out of 601 students, 483 are enrolled in PGP, 52 have enrolled in PGP-LSM, 49 have enrolled in PGP-F, and 17 have enrolled in DPM (PhD).
