The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) has started Cycle 1 admissions for the EMBA 2027 batch. Working professionals can apply at emba.iimu.ac.in till December 15, 2026. The two-year programme follows a modular online format with live classes.

The batch begins on May 22, 2027. Candidates need a bachelor's degree and 36 months of work experience. IIM Udaipur set up the EMBA for mid-career working professionals, allowing students to continue their jobs. At least 36 months of full-time work experience after graduation, calculated up to May 20, 2027. A valid GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE, or CAT scorecard (not older than five years). Candidates without these scores can take the IIMU Test instead.

The admissions process opened on September 30, 2026. Cycle 1 closes on December 15, 2026. Later cycles will follow before the final admission deadline on May 7, 2027.

IIM Udaipur EMBA 2027 Programme Structure

The EMBA runs for two years in a live online format. Students attend seven sessions each week with the faculty: Five sessions are held on Saturday and Sunday. Two sessions take place on weekday late evenings. Each session lasts 90 minutes with Q&A slots after. The 1,200-hour course covers Business Foundations, Functional Foundations, and the Managerial Toolkit with elective choices. Students also attend two one-week on-campus immersion modules at Udaipur.
