IIT Delhi Placement 2023-24 Season Begins with 480 Job Offers on Day 1

New Delhi: The placement season at IIT Delhi for the academic year 2023-24 has successfully commenced on December 1, 2023, and will continue until May 2024. During the drive, recruiting organisations will conduct full-time hiring for UG and PG students. 

According to the latest IIT Delhi reports, some of the prominent companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Texas Instruments were among the top recruiters on the first day, offering a total of 480 offers to numerous students.

Approximately 25 students have been extended job offers from international recruiters, including but not limited to Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

IIT Delhi Placements 2023-24 Highlights 

The placement season stands as a crucial moment where the most talented individuals from IIT Delhi interact with organisations on a national and international scale. This year, hiring procedures are taking place through both physical and virtual channels, accommodating the preferences of the recruiters.

Currently, registrations for student recruitment have been received from over 360 national and international organisations, presenting a diverse array of 660+ job profiles spanning various sectors.

IIT Delhi Placement 2023-24 Day 1 Overview

By December 1, 2023, IIT Delhi students have secured approximately 480 full-time job offers, including pre-placement offers, with about 450 distinct selections. Additionally, several students have successfully secured multiple job offers.

Prof. R. Ayothiraman, Professor in charge of the Office of Career Services mentioned that the office is focused on maximising the placement opportunities for students utilising their services. He expressed that they have a diverse range of companies from various sectors in their lineup, aiming to address the diverse needs and aspirations of the student body.

Dr. Anishya O. Madan, Industrial Liaison Officer at the Office of Career Services, IIT Delhi, expressed that the talent pool is eager to contribute to the growth of the organisations they become a part of. Further, she looked forward to welcoming recruiters who have faith in the potential of their talent pool.
