INI CET July 2026 Open Round Registration Begins at aiimsexams.ac.in; Check Last Date to Apply

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has opened the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) July 2026 Open Round counselling at aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates can complete registration and choice filling till August 3, 2026. This is the final counselling stage for the July 2026 session.

The counselling pool includes 875 postgraduate medical seats across 23 leading medical institutes. AIIMS has also released the fresh seat matrix along with the official counselling notice. Seats are available across MD, MS, DM, MCh, and MDS programmes.

INI CET July 2026 Open Round Schedule

Participating Institutes

Only Institutes of National Importance participate in INI CET counselling. The Open Round brings the vacant seats left after the earlier counselling rounds back into a common seat allocation pool.

Who Is Eligible for the INI CET Open Round?

Only candidates who have qualified INI CET July 2026 can register for the Open Round. Applicants must have secured the required qualifying percentile in the entrance examination.

Candidates who accepted seats during the previous counselling rounds may also participate to upgrade their allotted institute or course, subject to the applicable counselling rules.

How to Register for the INI CET Open Round?

Candidates must log in to the official AIIMS examination portal to begin the registration process. The counselling form requires applicants to provide their personal, academic, examination, and internship details.

Candidates must also submit their National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council registration number.

The steps to register and fill choices are given below:

Visit aiimsexams.ac.in and log in using your registered credentials.

• Open the Academic Courses section, select Postgraduate, and choose the INI CET July 2026 tab.
• Enter the required personal, academic, examination, and internship details.
• Provide your NMC or State Medical Council registration number.
• Select the preferred college and course combinations.
• Arrange the choices in the correct order of preference.
• Review and lock the submitted choices before August 3, 2026.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Study the fresh seat matrix on the AIIMS portal before shortlisting.
2. Complete registration on the portal within the open window.
3. List choices in strict order of college and course preference.
4. Keep your NMC or State Medical Council details ready.
5. Track the seat allotment result and report on time at the allotted institute.
