JKBOSE Class 10 results have been released on June 15, 2020 on the official website of the Jammu & Kashmir board. The results have been released only for the Jammu division(summer zone). The senior secondary examination for Jammu & Kashmir Board was conducted from February 29,2020 to March 18,2020. Candidates can check their result online on the official website by entering their board roll number mentioned in the admit card. The e-scorecard can also be downloaded but it shall be considered provisional and the original scorecard will be available in the concerned schools. The results were delayed due to the outbreak of coronavirus followed by the nationwide lockdown. The Jammu Division of the JKBOSE 10th Results 2020, released to the students on 15th June, 2020, has quite an optimistic result. The average passing percentage of the students who appeared for this Summer-Zone exam is 70%. The pass percentage for female students stands at 72%, whereas that of male students is lesser as compared, i.e. 68%.

How to check JKBOSE 10th board results 2020?

Amidst the floating back and forth question of whether the last year exams are truly cancelled or not, J&K went ahead and declared the results of SSC, with the HSC results soon to follow. There are certain steps one needs to follow in order to view their own results, which are:

How to check JKBOSE 2020 Class 10 Results through SMS?

If any candidate is unable to access the website then S/he can check the board results through SMS. Candidates are required to send a SMS as JKBOSE10 <space> Board Roll Number to 5676750. The results will be sent on the phone and it will contain both sectional and overall marks and percentage.

JKBOSE 2020 Result Revaluation

The JKBOSE has also given a way for the students to apply for the revaluation of their marks if they are not satisfied with their results. Candidates are required to fill and submit revaluation application forms on the official website. The last date to apply for the revaluation of results is July 11,2020 .If any kind of changes come up after rechecking and reevaluation, the marksheets of the involved students will be updated and then freshly provided with the updated sheet.

JKBOSE 2020 Class 10 Evaluation Criteria and Grace Marking

The results have been declared for the senior secondary examination and the candidates have performed better than the last year. The minimum marks required to pass the examination is 33% in a subject and an aggregate 33%. Also, marks for theory and practical will be bifurcated and the candidate is required to score 33% marks in the written examination and practical examination separately. Candidates who are unable to pass in the examination will be awarded with grace marks. The maximum marks for grace marking are capped at 6. So any candidate is unable to pass by 6 or less than 6 marks then S/he shall be awarded with the grace marks so that he can pass the exam.

JKBOSE 2020 Supplementary Examination

If any candidate did not pass the examination or was not satisfied with the marks then S/he can appear for the supplementary examination. The application form for the supplementary examination shall be filled online as per the guidance of the concerned school. The admit card for the supplementary examination will be released a month prior to the date of examination. The updated marksheet will be available in the concerned school after the declaration of results.

JKBOSE Results for Kashmir Zone

The Jammu & Kashmir Board has declared the result for senior secondary examination conducted in the Jammu region. The results for the candidates from Kashmir region will be declared around February 2021. The examination for Kashmir region will be conducted around October 2020. The examination may get delayed due to the unpredictable circumstances arose by the outbreak of coronavirus.

JKBOSE Class 10 Result Analysis

Around 28,111 candidates belonging to the government school appeared in the senior secondary examination in which, around 15,708 passed with decent marks. On the other hand, the participation of students from private schools was 25,696 in which around 21,750 students passed the exam. The government school, therefore, has an overall pass percentage of 55.88% whereas the private school percentage is standing at a whopping 84.64%. The analysis of the results from the previous year, i.e. 2019 - The performance graph of the class 10th of J&K over all these years have always been ranging from 50% to 70%, especially since the last five years. The 10th class of 2020 has actually gotten the highest extreme side of the spectrum.

JKBOSE 2020 Mark Sheet

The candidates can download the mark sheet from the official website. The online mark sheet shall be considered provisional and it can be used for further admissions. The online mark sheet is required to be attested by the school authorities or any class 1 gazetted officer for validation. The original copy of the mark sheet will be available in the concerned school after the declaration of results. The mark sheet will contain the following details:
