Kerala Agricultural University Opens MBA ABM 2026 Admissions; Check Last Date to Apply

The Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) has opened admissions for the Master of Business Administration in Agri-Business Management (MBA ABM) programme for the 2026 academic year. Eligible candidates can submit applications online at the official admissions portal, admissions.kau.in. The last date to apply is July 20, 2026.

The two-year full-time programme is offered at the College of Co-operation, Banking and Management (CCBM) on the Vellanikkara campus in Thrissur. The course has a sanctioned intake of 40 seats.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates must hold a recognised bachelor's degree to be considered. The minimum academic requirement is 60 percent marks from SSLC onward. A professional degree with an OGPA of 7.00 on a 10-point scale is also accepted.

SC and ST candidates receive a 5 percent relaxation on the qualifying marks. Applicants must also hold a valid score in any of the accepted national or state entrance tests.

How Is the Final Merit List Prepared?

The KAU MBA ABM selection follows a composite weighting model. The entrance examination score carries 80 percent weight in the final merit. Group Discussion and Personal Interview performance carry 10 percent each.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round at Vellanikkara. The final allotment will be released on the official admissions portal.

How to Apply for KAU MBA ABM 2026?

Applications must be submitted only through the online portal. Candidates are also required to send the printed application form to KAU within seven days of the last online submission date.

1. Visit the official admissions portal at admissions.kau.in.
2. Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Fill in the academic, personal, and entrance exam details.
4. Upload the required documents and photograph.
5. Pay the application fee of Rs 1,000 online.
6. Submit the form and download the confirmation copy.
7. Send the printed application with documents to the Registrar, Kerala Agricultural University, KAU P.O., Thrissur, Kerala 680656.

2. Confirm your eligibility marks and a valid KMAT, CAT, CMAT, or MAT scorecard.
3. Keep scanned copies of mark sheets, photo, signature, and entrance scorecard ready.
4. Arrange the Rs 1,000 application fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
5. Submit the online form well before July 20, 2026 to avoid last-day server load.
6. Dispatch the printed application to the Registrar within seven days of the deadline.
