MAH BEd CET CAP 2026 Round 1 Final Merit List Out; Direct Link

The State CET Cell Maharashtra has released the MAH BEd CET CAP 2026 Round 1 final merit list on August 10 at bedcap26.mahacet.org. Shortlisted candidates can now fill the college option form for Round 1 seat allotment.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Government of Maharashtra, has released the Maharashtra Bachelor of Education Common Entrance Test (MAH B.Ed CET) 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 1 final merit list. The list was published on August 11, 2026, on the official CAP portal at bedcap26.mahacet.org. Candidates who registered for CAP Round 1 can now check their state merit number and rank status.

The final list follows the alphabetical merit list released on August 4, 2026. The grievance window for corrections in category, percentile, or eligibility closed on August 6, 2026. The final list is the rank-ordered version used for Round 1 seat allotment.

Merit Lists Released by Category

The CET Cell has issued seven separate final merit lists for CAP Round 1. Each list covers a specific candidate category under the two-year B.Ed programme.

The final merit list is a category-wise PDF hosted on the CAP portal. Candidates need their application number and CET percentile to verify their position.

Select the merit list PDF that matches your category.
Search for your application number in the PDF.
Verify your state merit number, percentile, and category.
Download and save the file for future reference.

What Happens After the Final Merit List?

Candidates named in the final merit list must now fill the college option form. This form lets you list preferred B.Ed colleges in order of choice. The CET Cell will use these choices along with your rank to allot a seat.

Seats will be allotted based on merit, category, and preference order. Once a seat is allotted, candidates must accept it within the given window. They must then report to the assigned college with all original documents.

Who Is Not Considered and Why?

The Not Considered list carries application numbers with a rejection reason. Common reasons include invalid category proof, incomplete documents, or eligibility gaps. Candidates who feel the rejection is wrong should contact the CET Cell helpdesk without delay.

Why This Matters

The final merit list decides your Round 1 seat allotment rank. A missed option form or a delayed acceptance can push you to later CAP rounds. Later rounds usually have fewer and less-preferred seats.
