Maharashtra DSE CAP 2026 Round 3 Seat Allotment Out; Check Last Date to Confirm Seat

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has released the Round 3 allotment result for the Direct Second Year Engineering (DSE) Common Admission Process (CAP) 2026. Candidates can check the allotment list at dse2026.mahacet.org.in.

CAP is the state counselling process conducted by the CET Cell for lateral entry into the second year of engineering programmes. Diploma holders and B.Sc. degree candidates are eligible under this scheme.

The allotment list is available institute-wise on the official portal. Candidates must accept the allotted seat online, pay the required fee and report physically to the allotted college by August 28, 2026. The physical reporting window will close at 5 PM sharp.

How to Check the DSE CAP 2026 Round 3 Allotment Result?

Candidates must use the official DSE CAP portal to view their allotted seat. The allotment letter contains details such as the institute name, allotted branch and category.

• Visit the official portal at dse2026.mahacet.org.in.
• Click on the Round 3 seat allotment link on the homepage.
• Log in using the Application ID and Password or Date of Birth.
• Open the provisional allotment letter displayed on the screen.
• Download and save a copy for future reference.

How to Confirm Your Allotted Seat?

Candidates must accept the allotted seat online after checking all the details mentioned in the allotment letter. They can log in using the same credentials used during registration. The seat acceptance fee must be paid through the secure payment gateway available on the portal.

Physical reporting to the allotted institute is a separate and mandatory step. Candidates must carry all the required original documents to the college. These documents include mark sheets, diploma certificate, category certificates and fee payment receipt.

The final deadline for completing the online process and reporting to the allotted institute is August 28, 2026. Candidates must reach the college before 5 PM, as late reporting may result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.
