How to Check the MAH MBA CAP 2026 Round 1 Allotment?

The provisional allotment result can be checked through the candidate login on the official CAP portal. Candidates must keep their MAH MBA CET application number and password ready before starting.

  • Visit the official website at mba2026.mahacet.org.in.
  • Click on the link for CAP Round 1 provisional seat allotment.
  • Enter your application number and password to log in.
  • Check the allotted institute, course, and category status on screen.
  • Download the allotment letter and save a copy for reporting.

The institute-wise allotment list is also available for reference on the portal at the institute-wise allotment page.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat and Pay the Fee?

Seat acceptance is completed online through the same candidate login. Physical reporting is required only after the online steps are done.

  • Log in to the CAP portal using your credentials.
  • Open the seat acceptance form on the dashboard.
  • Choose your option from Freeze, Slide, or Float, if applicable.
  • Pay the non-refundable acceptance fee of Rs 1,000 online.
  • Download the acceptance receipt for your records.
  • Report to the allotted institute with required documents by 3:00 PM on August 5, 2026.

What Do Freeze, Slide, and Float Options Mean?

Candidates who accept their Round 1 seat can also choose their next preference. This decision affects whether they stay in Round 1 or move to the next CAP round.

  • Freeze: The candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat. They exit the CAP process after Round 1.
  • Slide: The candidate accepts the current seat. They remain in the process for a better course in the same institute.
  • Float: The candidate accepts the current seat. They remain in the process for a better institute in later rounds.
Why This Matters

Missing the August 5 deadline cancels the Round 1 allotment. Candidates who skip online acceptance cannot enter Round 2. The Rs 1,000 fee is non-refundable, so choose Freeze, Slide, or Float with care.

Action Plan for Candidates

  • Log in to mba2026.mahacet.org.in and check your Round 1 allotment status.
  • Download and save the provisional allotment letter from your dashboard.
  • Decide between Freeze, Slide, or Float based on your preferences.
  • Pay the Rs 1,000 non-refundable acceptance fee online before 3:00 PM on August 5, 2026.
  • Keep original documents such as CET scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, graduation certificate, and category proof ready for reporting.
  • Complete reporting to the allotted institute within the same deadline.

CET Cell is expected to open MAH MBA CAP Round 2 registration and preference filling soon after Round 1 closes. Watch the official portal for the Round 2 schedule and revised vacancy list.
