MHT CET CAP Round 1 Cutoff 2026 Out; Accept Seat by Aug 5

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has released the Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 1 cutoff 2026 for engineering admissions. The cutoff has been published on the official portal at cetcell.mahacet.org. Separate cutoff PDFs have been issued for All India candidates and Maharashtra State candidates.

The provisional seat allotment result was declared on August 2, 2026. Around 2.19 lakh candidates participated in the CAP Round 1 process. Of these, 1,57,103 candidates received BE or BTech seat allocations. A total of 16,615 students were allotted their first-choice option.

Seat Acceptance Fee

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000. Those retaining their Round 1 allotment while participating in Round 2 will need to pay Rs 10,000 later.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat?

Candidates who receive a seat allotment must complete the acceptance process online. The reporting to the allotted college is also mandatory within the given window.

  2. Download the seat allotment letter from the candidate dashboard.
  3. Pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000 online.
  4. Upload the required documents for verification.
  5. Report to the allotted institute between August 3 and 5, 2026.
