MCC NEET MDS Round 2 Final Allotment 2026 Released; Check Reporting Deadline

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued the NEET MDS Round 2 result. The final seat allotment was released on mcc.nic.in on September 23, 2026. Allotted candidates must report to their dental colleges by September 30, 2026.

NEET MDS is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery. MCC conducts this counselling for the 50 per cent All India Quota postgraduate dental seats. It also covers Deemed and Central University dental colleges.

NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Key Dates

Seats Covered Under MCC NEET MDS Counselling

MCC counselling handles dental postgraduate seats across several institutions. The Round 2 allotment includes seats from the following categories.

• 50 per cent All India Quota seats in government dental colleges
• Central University seats including BHU, AMU and Delhi University
• IP University and Jamia Millia Islamia dental seats
• Deemed University dental college seats across the country
• Armed Forces Medical Services dental seats

How to Check the NEET MDS Round 2 Allotment Result?

Candidates can view their allotted college through the official MCC portal. Follow the steps below to access the Round 2 allotment result.

1. Visit the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the PG Dental Counselling section on the homepage.
3. Select the Round 2 Final Seat Allotment Result link.
4. Enter your NEET MDS 2026 roll number and password.
5. View and download the provisional allotment letter for future reference.

How to Report at the Allotted Dental College?

Reporting is mandatory to confirm the allotted seat. Candidates who fail to report on time will lose their seat allotment.

1. Download the provisional allotment letter from mcc.nic.in.
2. Visit the allotted dental college in person before September 30, 2026.
3. Carry all original documents and one set of photocopies.
4. Complete the admission formalities as per college protocol.
5. Pay the applicable admission fee to secure the seat.

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting

Candidates must carry all original certificates and self-attested photocopies. The list below covers the standard documents needed for admission.

• MCC provisional allotment letter
• NEET MDS 2026 admit card and rank letter
• BDS degree certificate and internship completion certificate
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• State Dental Council registration certificate
• Category certificate for SC, ST, OBC or EWS candidates
• Disability certificate for PwBD candidates, if applicable
• Valid photo identity proof and recent passport size photographs

What Happens If Candidates Miss the Reporting Deadline?

Failure to report by September 30, 2026, has serious consequences. The allotted seat will be cancelled without any exceptions.

The vacant seat then moves to the Stray Vacancy Round pool. State counselling authorities handle the Stray Vacancy Round for remaining MDS seats.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Log in to mcc.nic.in and download the allotment letter.
2. Arrange all original certificates, category proofs and photocopies.
3. Reach the allotted dental college on or before September 30, 2026.
4. Complete the joining formalities and pay the admission fee.
5. Collect the joining report acknowledgement from the college office.
