UP NEET MDS Round 2 Merit List 2026 Released; Check Choice Filling Deadline

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has released the NEET Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) Round 2 merit list 2026. The list is now live on the official portal, upneet.gov.in. It covers admissions to MDS courses across the state.

Choice filling for Round 2 opened on September 22, 2026. Eligible candidates must submit and lock preferences by September 24, 2026. The Round 2 seat allotment result will follow on September 25, 2026.

UP NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Important Dates

Who Can Participate in UP NEET MDS Round 2?

Only candidates named in the Round 2 merit list can fill choices. They must have qualified NEET MDS 2026. Completion of one year of compulsory rotatory internship is mandatory.

Candidates need a BDS degree from a recognised dental institution. Valid registration with the Dental Council is also required. State and institutional restrictions apply as per DGME rules.

How to Download the UP NEET MDS Round 2 Merit List?

Follow these steps to view and save the merit list PDF:

1. Visit the official portal at upneet.gov.in.
2. Click the link for the UP NEET MDS Round 2 merit list.
3. The merit list PDF will open on the screen.
4. Use Ctrl F to search by roll number or state rank.
5. Download and save the file for future reference.

How to Fill Choices for Round 2?

Log in to the portal using registered credentials. Select preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. Save each entry and then lock the final choices.

Choices submitted but not locked will not be considered valid. The system will not accept changes after September 24, 2026. Candidates should print the locked choice list for their records.

Registration Fee and Payment Modes

The UP NEET MDS counselling registration fee is Rs 3,000. This is a non-refundable processing charge. Payment is accepted via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

Candidates should keep the payment receipt safe. It may be required during document verification at the allotted college.

Documents Required at the Allotted College

Candidates must carry originals along with two sets of photocopies. Verification will happen before the seat is confirmed.

• BDS degree and mark sheets of all years
• Internship completion certificate
• Dental Council registration certificate
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets

• Aadhaar card or a valid photo identity proof

What Happens After Round 2 Allotment?

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 have two paths. They can accept, report, and join the allotted college. They can also wait for a later round if announced.

Any mop-up round will be notified on the official portal. Candidates should track updates till the admission cycle closes.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Check your name in the Round 2 merit list at upneet.gov.in.
2. Log in to the portal with registered credentials.
3. Arrange and fill college and course choices carefully.
4. Lock the final choices before September 24, 2026.
5. Watch for the seat allotment result on September 25, 2026.
6. Report at the allotted college between September 26 and October 1, 2026.
