MCC NEET SS 2025 Round 2 Counselling Schedule Revised at mcc.nic.in; Check New Dates

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the Round 2 schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2025 counselling. The revised schedule was issued through an official notice dated August 5, 2026, on the MCC portal at mcc.nic.in. It applies to DM, MCh and DNB SS admissions across participating institutes.

As per the notice, registration for Round 2 closed on August 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The choice filling and choice locking window will remain open until August 6, 2026, up to 2:00 PM. The Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on August 7, 2026, on the MCC website.

MCC NEET SS 2025 Round 2 Revised Schedule

Candidates must complete each activity within the revised timelines to remain eligible for a seat. The revised dates are given below.

Tamil Nadu In-Service Seats Added to Round 2

MCC has also added 153 vacant Super Speciality in-service seats in Tamil Nadu to the Round 2 seat matrix. The Tamil Nadu State Selection Committee reverted these seats to central counselling in compliance with the Supreme Court order dated July 28, 2026.

Registered candidates can now exercise fresh choices for the newly added in-service seats. The updated seat matrix is available on the MCC portal under the Super Speciality Counselling 2025 section.

How to Fill Choices for MCC NEET SS 2025 Round 2?

Candidates must log in to the MCC portal using their registered credentials. The choice-filling window closes at 2:00 PM on August 6, 2026, and unlocked choices will be automatically locked at that time.

1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the Super Speciality Counselling 2025 tab.
3. Log in using your MCC NEET SS 2025 roll number and password.
4. Select preferred courses and institutes from the updated seat matrix.
5. Reorder the choices according to preference and lock them before the deadline.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Complete registration and fee payment on mcc.nic.in by 3:00 PM on August 5, 2026.
2. Review the updated Round 2 seat matrix, including the added Tamil Nadu in service seats.
3. Fill and lock your choices by 2:00 PM on August 6, 2026.
4. Take a printout of the locked choice list for your records.
5. Check the Round 2 seat allotment result on August 7, 2026 on the MCC portal.
