NEET 2024 Exam on May 05, Registrations to Begin from January 2024

New Delhi: NTA will conduct the NEET 2024 Exam on May 5, 2024. However, there has been no official notification about the NEET 2024 schedule yet. NEET is the only national-level UG medical entrance exam in India for candidates seeking admission to MBBS and other AYUSH courses.

As per the latest reports, NEET UG 2024 Application Process 2024 is expected to begin on January 24, on the official website @neet.nta.nic.in.

Earlier, NTA also released the revised NEET 2024 Syllabus, introducing changes such as the removal and addition of chapters in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

What is the NEET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria?

Here are the eligibility criteria for the NEET UG 2024 examination:

• Candidates must be Indian citizens, and Non-resident Indians (NRI) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible.
• The minimum age requirement is 17 years at the time of admission or by December 31, 2024, with no upper age limit.
• Qualifying examination requirements include passing Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English subjects individually. 

How to Register for NEET 2024?

When the NEET 2024 application process commences, candidates should adhere to the following straightforward steps to fill out the application:

Step 1: Visit the official NTA NEET website or neet.nta.nic.in to register for the NEET UG 2024 examination.

Step 2: Click on "Fill Registration Form" or follow the NEET UG 2024 Registration invitation.

Step 3: Opt for 'New Registration' and provide the necessary details.

Step 4: Log in to the official website using the application number and password.

Step 5: The NEET application form 2024 will appear on the screen with pre-filled registration details that cannot be altered.

Step 6: Upload scanned images and proceed to pay the application fees.

Meanwhile, the application fee is INR 1,700 for the General Category, INR 1,600 for Other Backward Classes, INR 1,000 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and persons with Disability, and INR 9,500 for candidates outside India.
