    NTA has reopened NEET 2020 form correction window on September 23, 2020. The facility will remain active until September 30, 2020. Candidates who had faced difficulties in making corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Form due to COVID- 19 can now make the correction. 

    • Candidates can correct only these details: Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Gender, Category, Person with Disability, State Code of Eligibility, Nationality
    • The exam has been conducted on September 13, 2020, and NEET 2020 Answer Keys are likely to be released on September 28, 2020.

    Step 1: Visit the official webiste

    Step 2: Click on Candidates Login Link provided on the left-hand side of the portal.

    Step 3: Edit the details and click on "Preview and Submit"

    Step 4: Make Payment for your changes, only if applicable for that particular change. 

    Step 5: Take a print out of the correct form for future references

    Note – Successfully registered candidates can make the necessary changes in their NEET 2020 application forms till Sep 30, 2020, 5:00 P.M. (IST).

    The following documents are required for the process of NEET Registration: 

    1. 10th class mark sheet

    Filling the NEET application form consists of four simple steps as indicated below:

    Step 1 – Registration

    The first step is to generate your login credentials i.e. NEET Registration Number and Password. This can be down by following these steps -

    • Visit the official website and click on the ‘New Registration’ link.

    • Read the instructions carefully and click on ‘Apply Online’. The details to be filled in the application form are as follows –

    Note:Once you click on ‘Final Submit’, you will not be allowed to change any details. Therefore, candidates are advised to review their application form carefully.

    Step 2 – Uploading Scanned Images

    • Post successful filling of application form, you will be issued NEET Login credentials. Enter the same and sign in again to complete NEET Application Form.
    • Next step is scanning and uploading Passport size, Post Card size Photo, Signature, Left hand thumb impression and Class X Passing Certificate in the form as per the Guidelines for Uploading of Photo & Sign in NEET Form. A brief about the specifications are as follows:

    Step 3 – Payment of NEET Application Fee

    • After filling the form, candidates have to pay the application fee through UPI App/ Debit card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ E-wallet
    • Service/processing charges per transaction & GST (applicable @18%) to be paid by the candidate.
    • The application fee of NEET 2020 is INR 1500 for General candidates. For General – EWS & OBC candidates, the application fees is INR 1400 and INR 800 for SC/ ST/ PwD and transgender candidates.
    Note(s):
    – 
    In addition to examination fee, service/processing charges will also be paid by the candidate along with Service Tax, for online fee payment.
    – After final submission of fee, the form cannot be withdrawn. Any claims for refund of application fee will not be entertained.  

    Step 4- Download Confirmation Page

    • If your application status shows ‘Confirmed’, it means your application is accepted by the exam authorities.
    • Take a print out of NEET 2020 Application Form as well as of the confirmation page.

    • Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2020 must be met by the candidate. 
    • Correct choosing of gender from male/female/transgender categories.

    • Candidates from the PwD category must fill the relevant column in the online application form.

    How to Resize Images Using MS paint for NEET 2020 Application Form?

    Candidates often face the issue of unacceptable image size, they can follow these steps to resize and compress scanned images of their photograph and signature through MS Paint, to the desired specifications mentioned in NEET official notification. 

    1. Click on the “” key and search for paint
    2. Open ‘MS Paint’ in your computer
    3. Press ‘Ctrl+O’ and browse to the scanned images of your photograph/signature.
    4. Now, press ‘Ctrl+W’ to open “Resize and Skew” window

    2. Enter the specified pixels mentioned in notification for Photograph/Signature
    3. Go to File tab and click on “Save As”

    What if you forget your NEET Login ID and Password?

    In case you forget your credentials for NEET, do not panic follow these simple steps to retrieve the particulars.

    Ques. Are any corrections allowed in NEET 2020 application form?

    Ans. No. Submission of NEET Application form and payment of Application fee can be done via online mode only. For any kind of assistance regarding the filling, submission of payment of fee, candidates can contact the nearest Common Services Center.

    Ques. What is the age limit for appearing in NEET 2020? How many attempts are allowed?

    Ans. It is mandatory that the candidate has achieved the age of 17 years by December 31, 2020. The upper age limit for NEET has been removed. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts also, a candidate can sit for NEET any number of times if they fulfill the rest of the NEET eligibility criteria. However, the candidature of candidates appearing who are more than 25 years of an age is subject to the orders of Supreme Court. 

    Ques. Is it permissible to change or retrieve the password of NEET application form 2020? How?

    Ans. Yes. It is possible to retrieve the password of NEET. In case a candidate forgets the password, he/she can retrieve the same through the following steps:

    Through OTP (One Time Password) on Registered Mobile Number: Candidates will need to enter their ‘Registration Number’, ‘Candidate’s Name’ and ‘Date of Birth’.

    Answering the Security Questionset while registering: Candidates can also retrieve the password by answering a bunch of security questions.

    Forgot Mobile number and Email ID: In order to retrieve the password through this method, candidates will need to have to enter personal details.

    Ques. Can we attach the photo without name and date printed on it?

    Ans. It is mandatory to have the candidate’s name and date of clicking the picture on the passport-sized photograph. Take multiple copies of the photograph since the same will be required for the Admit Card and throughout the admission process.

    Ques. If a candidate is not appearing for the exam, can the application fee be refunded?

    Ans. No, the Application Fee is non-refundable, irrespective of whether the candidate sits for the exam or not.

    Ques. Can OCI candidates appear for NEET 2020 if they don’t have an Aadhar Card?

    Ans. Yes, for such candidates, Passport details will be required instead of Aadhar Card.

    Ques. Do we need to send a hard copy of the Application Form to NTA’s office?

    Ans. No documents must be sent to NTA. The entire application process will be conducted online.

    Ques.  I have failed in one subject but my average is above 50%, Can I apply?

    Ans. No, if you have failed in one subject you cannot apply.

    Ques.  I am an NRI in Dubai and how can I apply for general seat for NRI?

    Ans. NRI candidates are eligible to apply for a general seat. They can also apply for All India Quota. The ID Proof required would be their passport.

    Ques. My name on Aadhaar card is different than that on the 12th mark sheet, will I face a problem for verification or not?

    Ans. For verification, your name should match on both documents. 

    Ques. Are foreign nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates eligible to apply for 15% all India quota seats?

    Ans. Yes, all foreign nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates are eligible to apply for 15% all India quota seats. They will have to show their passport No. as ID Proof.

    Ques. If a candidate has appeared in state as well as institutional level exams three times, but hasn't appeared in AIPMT/NEET even once, will they be eligible to appear for NEET 2020?

    Ans. Yes, if a candidate has never appeared for AIPMT/NEET, then they can avail a maximum of three chances to appear in NEET provided they also fulfil the upper age limit criteria.

    Ques. I live outside India and do not possess an Aadhaar Card, Can I apply for NEET 2020?

    Ans. Candidates outside India may apply using their passport number.

    Ques. I have recently submitted the request for an update in their Aadhaar details due to some error, can I fill my NEET application form with the old Aadhaar number?

    Ans. Yes, you can apply for NEET. While submitting the updating details, the Aadhaar center also issues a 14 digit Aadhaar enrollment ID/UR number printed on the slip. You will be required to enter this new number.

    Ques.  In case of any problem in filling the online form? Who can be approached?

    Ans. If the candidates are facing any problem in submitting the NEET 2020 Application Form, they can contact Common Services Centers. They will act as Facilitation Centers this time and provide their services against the fee prescribed.

    Ques. If a candidate has passed class XII with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from NIOS, is he/she eligible to appear for NEET-UG?

    Ans. Yes, the applicants who have passed 10+2 from open school with 50% and fulfil the other eligibility criteria can apply and appear for NEET 2020.

    Ques. When will NEET 2020 application form be available?

    Ans. The application form for NEET 2020 will be available from December 2, 2019 at nta.ac.in. The entire application procedure will be conducted in online mode only.

    Ans. Candidates must keep their login passwords of NEET safe with them and not share it with anyone. It is a good habit to keep changing your password and always remember to logout from the NEET portal after you update, fill or submit the application form of NEET 2020 as per security measure.     Ques. How can I fill the NEET application form 2020 and pay the application fee if I don’t have any access to the internet?

    Ans. NTA will be employing the help of ‘Common Service Centers’ or ‘Facilitation Centers’ through which candidates who don’t have access to the internet can fill and submit their application forms of NEET 2020. Candidates who fill NEET 2020 application form through Common Service Centers will be required to pay the application fee of NEET 2020 through e-wallets.     Ans. You can calculate your age through online Age Calculator for NEET 2020. The age calculator gives your age as per your DOB and the date on which you want to calculate. Set the date December 31, 2020 for the date you want to calculate the age.

    Ques. What is the application fee category wise?

    Ans. NEET 2020 Application Fee for various categories is as follows:

    • General – INR 1500
    • For General- EWS /OBC - INR 1400
    • For SC/ST/PwD and Transgenders - INR 800

    Hi Jessy, no, soft copy of mark sheets would not be required to be uploaded, only percentage in 10th and 12th will be submitted. Photograph and signature of the candidates are the only documents that would be uploaded.

    Hi Rajendra, reservation policy regarding EWS category was applicable from 2019 itself. However, it is declared that cut off marks for EWS category is 50 percentile which is same as that of general category, thus, modification in the application form is not required. However, these candidates will get benefit at the time of counselling through supporting documents.
