Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Dash has announced the delay in conducting the Odisha Board Exam 2021 for classes 10 and 12.
The Education Minister has made an announcement hinting that the BSE Odisha 10th Exam 2021 and CHSE Odisha 12th Exam might be delayed by 3 months this year due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.
The Odisha Board Exam will be usually held in February but for the 2020 session, there will be a 3 months delay and the examination will be conducted in May - June 2021.
The Mass Education Minister stated that the Odisha Board Examination 2021 will be conducted three months after the schools in Odisha were reopened.

Sameer Dash also added that the decision on conducting the Odisha Board exam 2021 for classes 10 and 12 depends upon the completion of the syllabus.
Sameer stated, “This session, it is not feasible to commence the matriculation and Plus-II exams from February and March, respectively as students haven’t started preparations for the same. If under any circumstances exams are withheld for a year, a precious academic year of students will go waste.”
The Odisha Board Exam would be conducted only after 3 months of offline classes.
Earlier the BSE Odisha had suspended the activity for filling of examination forms for Matric Exams.
Considering the statement of the Education Minister, BSE Odisha has issued a notice stating that the form fill up process was postponed until further orders from the government of Odisha.
The state government has previously announced that schools in Odisha will not be reopened until December 31, 2020
