The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to declare the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 re-examination result on or before July 20, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the re-test can check their scorecards at the official portal, neet.nta.nic.in, once the result is live.

A senior NTA official told news agencies that the agency does not wish to fix an exact date yet. However, the result will not go beyond July 20. Results usually follow 45 days after the exam. This time the gap has been cut to 37 days.

The Re-NEET UG 2026 test was held on June 21, 2026. It was ordered after the earlier attempt on May 3, 2026 was cancelled. The cancellation followed serious allegations of a question paper leak.

Click on the link that reads NEET UG 2026 Result or Scorecard.
Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
Submit the details to view the scorecard on screen.
Download the PDF and take a printout for counselling use.

What Happens After the Result?

The scorecard will show the candidate's marks, All India Rank, and category rank. It will also state the qualifying status for MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH seats. NTA officials have confirmed that the MBBS academic session will not be pushed back due to the re-exam delay.

Counselling will be handled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the 15 percent All India Quota. It will also cover seats at AIIMS and JIPMER institutions. The remaining 85 percent state quota seats will be filled through respective state counselling bodies.
