Telangana Board Exam 2021 Likely to be Conducted by May; Details Here

The Telangana State Education Board has decided to conduct class 10th and 12th Board Exam 2021. As per the exam schedule, class 10th exams will be conducted in the month of May 2021, while class 12th Board Exams are likely to be conducted in April 2021.

Special Principal Secretary at Telangana State Education Board, Chitra Ramachandran has sent instructions to exam authorities regarding TS Secondary and State Intermediate Education Board Examination 2021.

As per the instructions, Class 10th Board Exam 2021 will be completed by May 10, 2021, if the exam begins from the end of April 2021. After the completion of the secondary board exam, the exam board will conduct the TS class 12th Board Examination.

Earlier, in accordance with the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) academic calendar, class 12th exams were scheduled to commence from March 24, 2021.

However, Chitra Ramachandran recently ordered the officials to check the possibilities of conducting the Class 12th Board exams in the month of May.

Class 12th Board exams can only be conducted in the month of May 2021 if the schools and colleges reopen from December 01, 2020.

Schools and Institutions are not functioning since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. As a result, schools will require at least 5 months for completion of Class 12th Syllabus.

Additionally, the Telangana Department of Education has decided to not make any changes in the question papers for TS Board Intermediate exams 2021.

The decision is, however, taken by the department’s officials stating, “Students will find it difficult to perform well in national and state-level entrance exams if the changes are made in the syllabus/question papers.”

Nonetheless, SCERT has excluded 30% of the Syllabus for Telangana Class 10th students. Also, students appearing for class 10th Board exam will be provided with more choices.

Under the State Education Board of Telangana, Class 10th Board examination will be conducted by Telangana State Board of Secondary Education. Meanwhile, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education will be conducting Inter Board exams.

Telangana State Education Boards are also planning to conduct the key state entrance examinations in the month of May 2021.
