TNEA 2026 Round 2 upward allotment is out at tneaonline.org. Round 3 choice filling also begins today for candidates with ranks between 131094 and 233812. Round 3 tentative allotment will be released on August 21.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has issued two major TNEA updates. The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) Round 2 upward allotment is out. Round 3 choice filling has also opened at tneaonline.org.
The upward list covers candidates who chose Accept and Upward earlier. Those with a better seat must report to the nearest TFC. Candidates without a better allotment retain their earlier confirmed seat.
Round 3 is the final round of TNEA 2026 general counselling. It is open to candidates ranked 131094 to 233812. Registered candidates must submit fresh choices through their portal login.

- Visit the official portal at tneaonline.org.
- Click on the candidate login link.
- Enter your application number and password.
- Open the Round 2 allotment order tab.
- Download and save the allotment for reporting.
How to Complete Round 3 Choice Filling?
Choice filling for Round 3 is done fully online.
- Log in to tneaonline.org with your credentials.
- Open the Round 3 choice filling section.
- Select preferred colleges and branches in order of choice.
- Rearrange the list to match your priority.
- Save and lock the choice list before the deadline.
TNEA covers both government and self-financing engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. Seat allocation strictly follows the rank list and community reservation. Choice order plays a decisive role in the seat you receive.

- If a better seat is allotted, visit the assigned TFC on time.
