UniPune Final Year Exams 2020 Day 1: Students Face Technical Glitches while Answering Questions; Check Details Here

The Savitri Bai Phule Pune University (UniPune) final year exams started on October 12, 2020. Students faced many difficulties on Day 1 of the exams because of various technical glitches, according to the recent media reports. 

During SSPU Final Year Exams 2020, students revealed that while the questions were not displayed, only answer options were available on the exam portal. It created a lot of confusion and loss of time for students.

A total of 2.5 lakh students are registered to appear for the final year exam 2020 according to the details provided by UniPune’s examination authorities. Earlier, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the exam authority postponed the exam for the 2020 session multiple times.

After the commencement of the exam on October 12, 2020, students reported several issues and technical problems while giving the examination in online mode. 

Even the official twitter handle of the SSPU Student Union published a tweet confirming the technical glitches faced by many students during the Final year online exams 2020.

Students Union stated, “Savitribai Phule Pune University's final session students' examinations have started from today. But most of the students are being shown only the question numbers and options without showing the questions in the exam. Please note this immediately to the university administration.”

Dr. Prafulla Pawar, Pune University Registrar, responded to the SSPU Student union tweet stating that students need not worry. Those facing technical problems would be provided another chance to appear for the final year exam. 

He mentioned in the tweet, “No student will be deprived of the examination for any reason. Given by the Vice-Chancellor. Even today, online and offline exams are smooth except for minor problems.”
