AKTU has released the revised UPTAC 2026 counselling schedule for UG and PG courses on uptac.samarth.edu.in. Round 4 seat allotment is out on August 3. Two special rounds for fresh JEE Main and CUET candidates follow in August.

UPTAC Counselling 2026 Revised Schedule Out for UG PG Courses

The Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2026 revised schedule is now out. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has issued the update. Candidates can access it at uptac.samarth.edu.in.

The revised timeline covers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It confirms the remaining seat allotment and upcoming special round dates.

UPTAC 2026 Counselling Structure

UPTAC counselling process has seven rounds in total this year. It includes four main rounds and one internal sliding round. Two special rounds will follow in August 2026.

  • Rounds 1 to 4: Main allotment rounds for registered candidates.
  • Internal Sliding Round: For candidates who have physically reported to their college.
  • Special Rounds 1 and 2: Open to fresh registrations and CUET UG candidates.

  • Enter the application number and password.
  • Submit the details to view the allotted seat.
  • Download the allotment letter for future reference.

What Should Allotted Candidates Do Next?

Candidates who receive a seat must confirm their admission online. They need to pay the seat acceptance fee within the given window. Failure to submit willingness on time will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

A Second Chance for Fresh Applicants

The August special rounds accept fresh JEE Main and CUET candidates. Students who missed the main counselling can still register. Even candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply.
