The Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has released the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) Round 4 Cutoff 2026 on the official portal at uptac.samarth.edu.in. The cutoff has been issued along with the Round 4 seat allotment result declared on August 3, 2026. Candidates can now view the opening and closing ranks for every participating institute and category.
The Round 4 cutoff is published as opening and closing ranks. Separate ranks are released for each course, institute, and category. Reserved category ranks are released under codes UPGE, UPBC, UPSC, UPST, and UPGEEWS. The cutoff data is drawn directly from the Round 4 seat allotment outcome.
Round 4 is an auto-freeze round in the UPTAC 2026 counselling. All candidates floating after Round 3 have been automatically frozen to their best allotted seat. No further choice changes are allowed in the main counselling rounds after this stage.

How to Check the UPTAC Round 4 Cutoff 2026?
The cutoff matrix is published on the counselling portal. Candidates can view opening and closing ranks by selecting the round, institute, and category.
- Visit the official portal at uptac.samarth.edu.in.
- Click on the Cut-Off Matrix link on the homepage.
- Select Round 4 from the round drop-down menu.
- Choose the participating institute and desired course.
- Select the applicable category code such as UPGE or UPBC.
- View the opening and closing ranks displayed on the screen.
How to Complete Seat Acceptance After Round 4?
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 4 must pay the seat acceptance fee within the given window. Physical reporting at the allotted institute is also required.
- Log in to the counselling portal using the UPTAC registration number and password.
- Download the provisional seat allotment letter.
- Pay the seat acceptance fee online before August 7, 2026.
- Report to the allotted institute with original documents for verification.
- Complete admission formalities at the institute within the reporting window.
Round 4 is the final main counselling round for UPTAC 2026. Since it is auto-freeze, candidates cannot float or change their allotted seat. Seats not accepted in this window will move to the special rounds pool.
