The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will conduct WBJEE Counselling 2020 from second week of August 2020. The Authorities will soon announce the counselling schedule on the official website of WBJEE. 

In WBJEE Counselling, allotment of seats is done through the rank scored by the candidates in WBJEE 2020 or JEE Main 2020.

As per the notice, the authorities will conduct three rounds of counselling with fresh registration for every round and one round for JEE Main 2020 rank holders.

Candidates must note that the board will conduct a separate counselling session for those applying for admission through  JEE Main 2020

A separate notification for this counselling will be released by the board. The process and steps involved in counselling through JEE Main 2020 will be similar to the WBJEE Counselling 2020. Candidates have to register and fill the choices of colleges and seats will be allotted on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main 2020.

Those who apply for admission based on JEE Main rank only need to pay registration fee of Rs 500 as a counselling fee.

WBJEE 2020 Counselling Procedure

Step 1: Online Registration: Register Online for WBJEE Counselling at official website.

Step 2: Payment of Fee: Candidates need to pay the registration amount of Rs 500 as WBJEE Counselling fee.

Step 4: Lock Choices: Fill the choices of preferred college and course and lock them for final seat allotment.

Step 5: Check for allocated seats in the seat allotment result displayed online.

Candidates will All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main 2020 Merit List are eligible to participate in e-counselling and are also entitled to participate against 10% of the sanctioned seats of the Self-financing Degree Level Engineering & Technology Institutions of the State ( as per the seat matrix provided by the Director of Technical Education, Govt. of West Bengal).
