WCE Sangli Institute Level Counselling 2026-27 Underway at walchandsangli.ac.in; Check How to Apply for Vacant Seats

Walchand College of Engineering (WCE), Sangli, has opened the Institute Level Counselling Round, known as ACAP, for the academic year 2026-27. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official portal at walchandsangli.ac.in. The round covers vacant seats across five programmes at the institute.

The ACAP round is conducted after the state Centralised Admission Process (CAP) run by the DTE Maharashtra. It is meant to fill seats that remain vacant at the institute after CAP allotments. Candidates apply directly to WCE Sangli for these vacant seats.

Who Is Eligible to Apply for the ACAP Round?

Eligibility depends on the programme. For F.Y. B.Tech, candidates need a valid MHT CET 2026 score or a valid JEE Main 2026 score, along with the state eligibility norms. For DSY B.Tech, candidates need a recognised diploma or a B.Sc degree with the required marks.

For M.Tech, a valid GATE score is the primary criterion. Non-GATE candidates may be considered against sponsored or institute-level seats as per the norms. For MBA, a valid MAH CET or CAT score is required. For B.Des, a valid design entrance test score is required. The exact cut-off norms are stated in each programme notice.

How to Apply for the WCE Sangli Institute Level Counselling 2026-27?

The application process is fully online for every programme. Candidates must submit fresh applications for the ACAP round, even if they had applied in the state CAP round earlier.

1. Visit the official page at walchandsangli.ac.in and open the Institute Level Notifications section.
2. Download the ACAP schedule PDF for the target programme.
3. Click on the application link inside the PDF to open the online form.
4. Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
5. Fill in personal, academic and entrance exam details as required.
6. Upload scanned copies of Class 10, Class 12 or graduation marksheets, entrance scorecard, category certificate and photo ID.
7. Pay the application fee online through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
8. Submit the form and save the confirmation page for future reference.
