SVNIT is one of the few NITs with a campus in the city center. Malls, shops, and movie theaters are all located within a 2 km radius.

The campus is covered in greenery, and the CRC lawns are perfect to sit and relax. The lake and its adjacent garden are on the side, separated by a wall. The campus roads are well constructed. 

The infrastructure has been recently renewed and provided with top-notch facilities. Fresher classes are conducted in the huge new CRC building that has glass walls. The senior students study in their respective departments. The hostel facility is average. The sports facilities are also average, but the gym is quite good. Freshers can't access the gym facility. 

The campus of SVNIT is good, though there’s always room for improvement. I would recommend you go through some online pictures to get a better idea. 

The living cost per month at Manipal Institute of Technology varies from person to person depending on what kind of activities he is involved in. Some like to spend their weekends partying or going on trips while some just want to stay in their rooms playing games or watching their favorite series. • If you like staying in the hostel and prefer eating mess food mostly with occasional food from outside, then your travel, food, and others will cost you about 3–4K per month.
• If you like to hang out frequently, the cost will be around 8-10k.

FMS Delhi is largely called the Marketing Campus of India owing to its excellent Marketing specialization. But this does not mean that its Finance department is poorly specialized. FMS provides great opportunities to its Finance students as well.

Faculty

The finance faculty conducts such amazing classes that even non-finance students are able to grasp the concepts easily. The pedagogy includes class discussions and case studies.

Finance Society of FMS Delhi: The Finance Society of FMS Delhi or FinSoc is an active body available 24/7 to clear all your doubts, aid you in preparing for placements, and exams and even help you perform in Corporate Competitions.

Alpha Investment and Research Club: This cell aims at converting your theoretical knowledge into practical lessons. This practical approach is possible through quality research, and knowledgeable sessions that help in understanding the nuances of investing and trading.

Placements 

This year the finance domain received 30 placement offers and 11 pre-placement offers. The roles offered included Front End Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Wealth Management, etc.

The major recruiters that came from the finance sector included Bharti Enterprises, ICICI Bank, HCL, HSBC, Axis Bank, and Crisil.

So FMS is not just a marketing campus but also specializes in Finance.

Unlike other NIT campuses, the SVNIT campus is located in the main city. Other NITs are generally located on the outskirts of the main cities. Here are some details about SVNIT.

• Any basic requirement that concerns your stationary or entertainment can promptly be fulfilled as everything is covered within 2 kilometers of radius. 
• The campus will never disappoint you as, like any other IIT/NIT, the SVNIT campus is adorned with greenery all around
• Previously, the lake present near the campus used to be a part of the campus too, but now the authorities have constructed a wall dividing the lake and the campus. 
• There are no bus or shuttle services inside the campus as it is relatively smaller. But the roads are pretty decent. Several people come inside the campus for morning walks.
• New CRC buildings are where classes are conducted for the first years. The infrastructure is excellent. 
• Old classes carry on in the old departments as it is. 
• Old and new hostels are present on the campus. Third and fourth-year students stay in the new hostels.

• A ground is present on the campus too where students prefer to play cricket and football. But since it is not maintained that often. Also, two basketball and tennis courts are present on the campus. 
• As far as indoor games are concerned, there are two table tennis and badminton courts. A gym is also present, but it is restricted for the first years. 
• Staff bungalows are appealing. Behind that, there is the girl's hostel.
• For financial services, there is a post-office and SBI branch present on the campus too.

• At present, it is emerging as a preferred campus for students to pursue Executive Education in India.
• It has been recognized to have established a center of excellence for Business Analytics, Technology Management, and Infrastructure Management.
• The School of Commerce, Science, Law, Economics, Engineering, and Pharmacy are some of the recent establishments of the institute.
• It is trying to set up a conducive research environment and also helps foster collaborative research with the several industrial sectors, the government, and NGOs.

NMIMS is known for its Mumbai campus. However, the placement of the Indore campus has been also good. In their first placement drive, the highest salary recorded was INR 18 LPA, while the average stood at INR 11.53 LPA.
