XIMB Rural Management is worth the investment of 11 lakhs. It is among the best MBA-RM programs in the country. The return on investment is sound. The recovery rate will depend on your course performance and placements. Generally, it's possible to recover the fees within 2-3 years of placements.
Over the last few years, XSRM has maintained a record 100 percent placement rate. The average CTC for Rural Management is around INR 8 LPA. The highest goes up to INR 17 LPA. Which bus(es) should I take to reach Heritage Institute of Technology from Howrah station?
There are no direct buses running from Howrah station to Heritage Institute of Technology. You need to take a bus to Ruby then you can take a rickshaw to reach HIT.
- Ac24 is the most practical option, to reach Ruby from Howrah. However, finding a seat on the bus is tough.
- The cheapest option is S24. It costs 9 rupees from Howrah station to Ruby, but due to a large number of passengers, the bus is quite packed and inconvenient for college students.
- If you prefer a more pleasant ride, take the E1 or AC1 or AC6 to Gariahat and then take another bus or vehicle to Ruby.
- HIT provides bus services from Exide more. You may take a bus from Howrah station to Exide, where the bus will meet you and transport you to your college.
- 107 and 107/1: These are some of the mini buses that go between Howrah station and Anandapur Ruby.

Can I get admission at Thapar University with only my board marks?
Thapar University Patiala admission with only board marks — no JEE:
Thapar University primarily uses JEE Main scores or their own Thapar University Entrance Exam (TUEE) for BTech admissions. however:
- Board marks alone (without JEE): Thapar does NOT admit students based on board marks only for regular BTech programs. JEE Main score or TUEE is required
- Exception — Management/NRI quota: Thapar may have limited seats where they consider board marks + interview for management quota, but this is subject to change and involves higher fees
- Lateral entry: for diploma holders wanting to join 2nd year BTech, admission may be based on diploma marks rather than JEE

Thapar has also accepted SAT scores for certain international students. for domestic students without JEE scores, taking the next JEE attempt or exploring TUEE is the practical route if you want Thapar BTech.
How do I get admission for an MBA in Osmania University?
You need to attempt TS ICET to get admission to Osmania University’s MBA course. TS ICET MBA cutoff score for 2022 is expected to be around 17845.
If you are able to clear the cutoff, you can get OU through counseling. Other than your ICET rank, your gender, and caste will also influence your eligibility.
Does IIEST Shibpur provide good placement for M.Tech?
As a former Civil student at IIEST, my answer especially concerns my branch.
Before pursuing an M.Tech, you must keep your aim straight. It should either be to work in a design company, or opt for a Phd. This is because B.Tech is a much better degree if your aim is to get placed with a good package.
The placements for B.Tech are much better than M.Tech, at IIEST Shibpur. Some M.Tech departments offer decent placements, while others aren’t even average in this respect. But the teaching is really good for all departments.
My answer isn’t very particular, but I tried to give you a general idea of the placement scenario for M.Tech at IIEST.

- Research: At the UG level research is restricted to your BTech thesis only m. You will get to do projects in your department occasionally. But if you are a research aspirant you can approach a professor and start your research work right from 2nd year itself
- Campus life: The BHU campus is surrounded by lush greenery and has a surreal ambiance. The student body comprises genius minds that'll help you grow as a person. You will be surprised to know that EE also has its own annual festival, Prastuti.
- Placements: EE students are approached by many recruiters who come for ECE and CSE students in addition to their own companies. Some of the top recruiters of this department are Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Broadcom, Samsung, etc. The trick to secure good placements is to acquire additional skills in the areas such as Programming, VLSI, Power Electronics, etc
Overall, the IIT BHU EE department is well-regarded and is a good choice for engineering aspirants.
