Which school should I choose, BITS Pilani Goa campus or IIT Gandhinagar?
There are the following points that you need to keep in mind while choosing between BITS Pilani Goa campus and IIT Gandhinagar:
- Choose your branch. When making this decision, it is crucial to consider what branch you want to pursue. Talk to people who have done CS or Electrical Engineering and gather information about both fields.
- Decide between IIT and BITS. BITS has a good alumni network, and its CS package is higher than IIT GN's Electrical Engineering package. However, IIT has a better brand value, especially if you plan to pursue higher education or move to the United States. If you want to go to the USA, choose IIT. If you plan to stay in India, BITS Goa is well recognized, and placements in CS are better at BITS than at IIT GN.
- Chill out! If you are undecided about your future plans or your choice of college, don't worry too much about it. Choose a place where you can enjoy your B.Tech life. If you want to have fun, BITS Goa is the better option as it is located in Goa.
Which one should I choose: IIM Rohtak or IIM Raipur?
All the new IIMs are currently in a similar position with one giving an edge to another in some or the other way. So you can join any. But if I was to choose one of the two i.eIIM Rohtak and IIM Raipur, I would have chosen IIM Rohtak. Some points that favor my choice are
- The major reason why many choose Rohtak is because of the locational advantage it offers. Owing to regional industry coordination and NCR location it's better than other new IIMs
- Among the new IIMs, it is the oldest. So the batch size is bigger and so is the alumni network.
- Almost all the new IIMs function from a temporary campus and don’t have their own new campus. Meanwhile, IIM Rohtak is functioning from the MDU campus which is better than most campuses and has world-class facilities.
- The institute specializes in Marketing and is a good choice for Marketing enthusiasts. Many good firms offer marketing roles.
Most of the people who are in a dilemma of choosing between these two IIMs already have offers from these. If you ask the alumni of both institutes which one is better, in 99% of cases they will claim that their institute is better. So it’s better to do individual research and make a choice based on your own inclinations and prospects.
What are the reviews of SIOM Nashik?
SIOM Nashik offers a different kind of campus life compared to other management schools. It is known for Operations Management. USP of SIOM is its syllabus and course content. You will get to learn in-depth about Operations. During the first year, the coursework may seem a bit overwhelming. But with time, you will start enjoying the learning process. SIOM also conducts many events and fun activities around the year.
According to the recent highlights of SIOM Nashik placements, around 100% of students get placed through the campus drive. The average CTC offered during the last campus placement was INR 11.77 LPA.

If you are interested in pursuing International Business, then FORE will be a better option, otherwise, TAPMI PGDM is better.
- FORE offers many electives to choose from. Even though you will be specializing in IB, you can choose electives like Business Communication, Information Technology, etc. So, you won’t be choosing a niche area.
- It has an institutional membership with professional societies like EPSI, BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry, AMDISA, etc. for student chapters.
- FORE has MoUs with universities like Anglia Ruskin University, Northampton University, etc. for student exchange programs, research, and other academic reasons.
- It offers placements in top recruiting companies like KPMG, Accenture, Deloitte, Ernest & Young, etc. As per the placement highlights of 2022, the average CTC offered at FORE was INR 11.4 LPA.
- TAPMI is among the very few institutes in India to have AACSB accreditation.

- As per TAPMI placements of 2022, the average CTC offered was INR 12.6 LPA, and the highest CTC was INR 32.2 LPA.
You should choose FORE or TAPMI based on the specialization you want to pursue.

How do I join in IBS Hyderabad?
Getting admitted to ICFAI Business School Hyderabad is relatively easier compared to other MBA colleges. To gain admission, you will need to possess average aptitude skills. How good are the placements after the one-year MBA (EPGP) at IIM Bangalore?
The placements for EPGP at IIM Bangalore are excellent and even better than that of IIM Ahmedabad and ISB. Only the best companies visit and offer high packages.
The Institute has also released its placement report for the EPGP batch of 2022. According to it, 30 companies participated in the placement drive and recruited 71 students. The maximum number of students was recruited by Accenture and the average CTC of INR 30.90 LPA was offered and the median CTC stood at INR 30 LPA.

Can I start my graduation at IGNOU on my 2nd year if I completed my 1st year at another college? Can I do both BSc and another stream degree at IGNOU?
You certainly can. Credit transfer is available through IGNOU.
Credit transfer refers to allowing a student from another university to enroll in IGNOU to complete an equivalent degree based on credit transfer from that university. As a result, the student did not appear in the exam for that course, which was found to be equivalent to and for which appropriate credit was deemed to have been obtained for the purpose of fulfilling the IGNOU requirements for awarding a degree.
Of course, there are some ground rules. You can find it in the IGNOU prospectus or program guide. You can do both at the same time, one with a regular duration and the other with a certificate program. It would, however, be too difficult for you.
