How is the placement of MNIT Jaipur in the CSE branch?
MNIT Jaipur CSE branch has the best placement records among other branches. Last year maximum number of students around 98 were placed from the CSE branch alone. The figures keep rising.
Although the institute does not release any official data, I asked a friend at MNIT Jaipur for the same. As per the information I got from him,
- Almost 98 students got placed
- The highest salary package offered by Apple was INR 64 LPA.
- The lowest salary package offered was INR 6.75 LPA.
- Top recruiting companies were Apple, Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, etc

Will I get NIT Kurukshetra in any branch with the home state quota and a 65k rank (general category)?
No, it's impossible to get any branch at NIT Kurukshetra with a rank of 65k even under the Home State Quota as a general category student. The least preferred branch Production and Industrial Engineering closed at 45351 this year. So it's not possible to get into with a rank of 65k. Other options you can consider instead include, the YMCA, Faridabad. Other options to consider with your rank are

What does NIT PATNA hostels look like?
A friend told me that NIT Patna has some of the best hostels in the country. There are a total of 5 hostels out of which 3 are new while 2 are old. five hostels, out of which three are newly built.
The amazing thing is that all three newly built hostels look almost the same, both from the outside and inside.
- Brahmaputra Hostel ( for boys)
- Kosi Hostel (for boys)
The other hostels are Bagmati Hostel (for boys), Sone Hostel (for boys), and Ganga Hostel (for girls). These look similar to the hostels shown above.
Why is IIT Patna so awesome?
Awesome is indeed the right word to describe IIT Patna. It has managed to grow at an exponential rate despite being a new IIT and establishing its own name. Here are a few things regarding the institute that make it awesome
- The institute has many GSOCers every year and IIT Patna also participated in the World Finals ACM ICPC.
- The placement scenario here is great and the average packages of CSE and EE are as high as INR 35.57 LPA and INR 24.85 LPA respectively.
- IIT Patna has a good coding culture and organizes its own open-source coding event called NWOC, Njack Winter of Code. Students are exposed to various projects right from the 1st month of 1 st semester. Competitions like Robowars or Death Race challenge the students' knowledge.
- IIT Patna has a very hardworking student body that conducts weekly classes of competitive coding, app development, web development, etc.
- Hosca, the House of socio-cultural activities, enhances the cultural environment by promoting dance, drama, music, etc.
- There is a good bond between juniors and seniors and ragging is strictly prohibited.
The list is not exhaustive and you will find many aspects of IIT Patna that make it the awesome institute it is.
How are the placements for energy studies at IIT Delhi?
Some key highlights of the placements for Energy Studies at IIT Delhi are
- Top companies that have ties with IIT Delhi for placements are GE Power, Sterling Power, John Deere, ABB India, Deloitte India, Applied Materials, and Renault-Nissan.
- Most students who had average or above-average academic profiles were able to get a good role
- Most of the students chase placements only and have no interest in acquiring knowledge and skills. So try not to adopt such a mindset and invest maximum efforts to reap benefits.
- Always be ready to work hard and face challenges. You will face tough competition as you will be dealing with geniuses of the country so prepare yourself for the same.
- Be open to multitasking or else you won’t be able to survive long. I know a friend who was a T&P coordinator who would do his joint project during the day and study for his additional course during the night.
- Make sure you start your project way before others
I will strongly recommend not joining IIT if your goal is to prepare for GATE or IES as you will be stealing someone else’s seat unnecessarily.

Is it really worth studying in Athena school of management? Is ITM Mumbai better than Athena or is Balaji Pune better among both?
Since my cousin studied in Pune and Mumbai both can answer this question better. Here is what she has to say about it. In terms of Management Studies, Mumbai can be considered as a better option than Pune. It is because Mumbai is the corporate and financial capital of India.
Now, when comparing Athena School of Management and ITM Business School, the events can be different,
- Location: Athena is located in Powai, which is mainly a corporate hub in Mumbai, while ITM is located in Kharghar which is not basically Mumbai.
- Faculty: The faculty of Athena are known to be the Top Corporate executives. ITM, on the other hand, has a faculty of academicians and several retired corporate professionals.
- Directors: The director of Athena is a former SP Jain and Wharton alumnus. Meanwhile, the dean of ITM is from Lucknow University.
- Internships: Athena provides multiple internships to students, i.e., one in each semester. In contrast, ITM only offers one.
- International Exposure: While Athena provides Two International immersions, in Singapore and Germany, and an Optional International Internship; ITM only offers One International Immersion typically for just certain specializations (International business only).

How do I get admission in UIT RGPV bhopal?
From 2013 onwards, UIT RGPV and other state engineering colleges of MP are offering admission based on JEE Main ranking. The procedure includes filling up the online counseling form with the scores of JEE Main and fill up the list of preferences of the colleges.
If you wish to avail of the state quota, then you need to get a state domicile. Otherwise, you will be allotted an All India quota. Multiple rounds of counseling will be held, if you are not satisfied with the first round, you can go for further rounds.
Is it worth joining IIM Sambalpur? I have converted IMT Ghaziabad and got a call from IIM Sambalpur. Would it be better than IMTG and IMI?
In my opinion, IMT Ghaziabad is a preferable choice to baby IIMs like IIM Sambalpur. IMT Ghaziabad is a more established B School than IIM Sambalpur and has an upper hand in almost every aspect. IMT Ghaziabad is better in every aspect like
- faculty
- competitiveness of peers
- curriculum
- infrastructure
- recruitments
- industry interface
- recognition
- alumni presence
- proximity to a metro city
All these parameters are crucial in determining the worth and credibility of a B School.
Ghaziabad owing to its location in Delhi NCR IMT has larger exposure to corporates and industries. It also has better infrastructure and an alumni network. So don’t run after the IIM tag. It’s better to do the analysis on your own and rate both campuses on each parameter rationally.
In all, if it’s the IIM tag you are after, go for IIM Sambalpur but if you want better career options, IMT is the right place for you.
