BIMTECH Greater Noida recorded 100% placement. The institute managed to provide placement assistance to all its 400+ eligible students from PGDM courses. According to the Placement Report 2022, the average salary was recorded as INR 9.38 LPA. A total of 129 recruiters visited the BIMTECH Greater Noida Campus for the recruitment drive.

How good is the IMI Delhi BFS course?

Is the Dera Bassi campus of Thapar University equivalent to Patiala Campus? Is it worth the fees?
In all honesty, the answer to both these questions is No.
Initially, this setup was present in the main campus itself as School of Behavioral Studies. Later on, it was shifted to Dera Bassi as LMTSOM. The Patiala campus offers much more facilities and exposure to its students.
Moreover, the Patiala campus is located in the heart of Patiala city. On the other hand, the Dera Bassi campus is located in the middle of a village, that too in a secluded area. The fee structure is almost similar at both the campuses. It mainly depends on the course. Moreover, fee is not the primary concern in this case. There are other more important factors that you must not overlook.
Personally, I wouldn’t recommend the Dera Bassi campus of Thapar University.
Should I go for IIT Kharagpur or IIT Dhanbad?
Without any second thoughts, IITKGP is a far better option than IIT Dhanbad in terms of both worth and recognition. The primary reason is its legacy and early establishment. To give you a better picture I am going to entail the pros and causes of IIT KGP bringing to light both sides of the coin.
Pros
- You will get the chance to pursue the subject that interests you and fuel your passion.
- Mechanical branch is much more preferred than metallurgy.
- IIT ISM is developing at a fast pace and will soon overtake other institutes after its inauguration of the biggest library in India.
Cons:
- Petroleum engineering does not guarantee good placements. Around 50% of the batch remains and placed and the situation is a result of a steady decline in petroleum industries in India.
- Dhanbad is not a very promising city in terms of exposure and opportunities.
- Electrical engineering failed to offer decent placement in the past, and the IIT tag does not seem to improve the situation.
The final decision is for you to make.
How good is Chemical Engineering at MNIT Jaipur?
Here are some details about Chemical Engineering at MNIT Jaipur-
MNIT is a better choice than most other colleges for B.Tech Chemical Engineering. It offers better placements, faculties, and facilities for Chemical students.
The coursework provides a deep understanding of unit operations. You may only get a BA program in the 3rd-5th cutoff. If you are interested, then Hindi or Sanskrit Honours is also an option.
If you are looking to do B.Com.(Hons), Economics (Hons), Political Science (Hons), Geography (Hons) then probably no, you need at least 97–97.5%.
It is advised that you choose a course over college. It is much more important to do what you want to do than where you do it from.
What are the best things for BITS Pilani Goa students to do on weekends?
One of the advantages of being BITS Goa students is that you can finally execute the Goa plans you made over the years. It is one of the tourist hotspots with many beaches, forts, museums, churches, temples, etc.
You can book a taxi, go to a beach and have dinner with a large group at a shack. If you like exploring solo, you can rent a scooter and travel. There are options to rent self-drive cars and go on road trips.
Get to know the culture of the place, try the local delicacies, and hang out with friends by a beach. While in Goa, you will certainly don’t have shortage of things to do on a weekend.
Which course is better salary wise for a civil engineer in NICMAR: ACM or PEM?
NICMAR is a good and reputed college with a stellar placement record. The 2018-2020 batch had over 90% placement percentage with more than 120 companies visiting the NICMAR (Pune) Campus for recruitment.
Mostly, the companies tend to offer similar packages for ACM as well as PEM. However, what does make a difference to it is the prior work experience of the candidates. So, it has got more to do with the individual capability than the branch, where higher salary placements are concerned.
