How are the hostels at NIT Jalandhar?

Girls and Boys hostles are outstanding. we are provided sharing rooms or a private room in final year. All facilites are well equiped from washrooms to cleaning and drinking facilties. There is big garden and sports area inside hostel along with a Gym. Meals are very healthy and a menu is followed as per students interest. The affordability is very high since its very cheap with great facilties.

There is a cleaning staff for every day maintenance of hostels. The hostel provides the WIFI, Mess facilities, and friendly attendant/warden staff available 24 hoursfor students' welfare. The amount of Rs. 25000 is paid to the mess department every semester, which serves 3 meals a day. All the rooms available are non-AC but well-maintained.

Hostel rooms contain fan, chair, table, beds, and 2 closets mess food is pretty average, it is horrible so students compromise on it registration process for hostel is through college erp portal and for pg the best location is bidhipur

For girls , the college has newly constructed hostels with decent facilities , roooms are mostly 2 seaters each having 2 beds 2 almirahs and two separate study tables. the rooms and common areas are well maintained and overall cleanliness is good. The hostel food is adequate and hygienic.

I stay in boys hostel one inside the NITJalandhar campus. the hostel rooms are equipped with essential bed ,study table ,chair ,wardrobe and have adequate lighting And electrical outlets. Each floor has clean washrooms and water coolers while common rooms offer tv and indoor games for relaxation. The hostel mess serves a fixed vegetarian menu quality is average Some dishes are better than others with breakfast and dinner generally preferred over lunch.Registration for hostel is simple and part of the college admission process Making it affordable and convenient for first years overall the hostel provides a safe and sociable environment close to academic buildings and campus amenities. It also has computer rooms
