Good crowd, great food,nice placements. The gym and cricket ground are two things which are worth watching,they are built in standard quality and are students are always kept away from them so that they won't end up there everyday by bunking all the classes.

Being a deemed university, the course curriculum in PES University is quite well structured, the subjects in Mechanical engineering were distributed through the semesters in a very understandable manner. Intensive CBT tests and final examinations are evaluated by the University professors only.

Placements were ample for computer science students, electrical students had to compulsorily undertake internship before they got graduated. Stipends up to 20000/month were received from many students from major companies like Bosch, Lnt, Toyota and many other IT companies.

Hackathon, TAS, Samarpan, Atmatrisha, Chathuranga, Freestyle dancing were some of the notable events which are organized by the students in PES University every year. Every event is given equal importance, regarding time and money expenditure college authority never has been hesitant.

Fee structure for merit students is quite reasonable for the quality of education and placements provided by the University. The university has its own entrance exam, through which students are given seats based on their ranks. The fees for the same is little expensive, management quota students should also have to pay a very high fees.

The college encourages many students by giving scholarship from its own trust as well as other govt scholarships. MHRD scholarship help the students financially. Many loans are given by the central bank situated inside the College campus.

Labs are intriguing, sports events are organised every year for both students and professors. Tournaments go on for about a month or so, extracurricular activities are given good importance so that students don't feel bored from those long lectures.

As travelling from home was not hectic for me, I never had to opt for hostel. But the canteen serves healthy and delicious meal throughout the day for hosteliers. There are various blocks in the hostel, the students are replaced every year.

PES University being an old college has a large alumni working in all parts of India and abroad as well. The college director is also an alumni of the University. The university has its name recognised in many parts of the world. The seniors have taken up different subjects to master and are organised in technical fields.

After passing second PU with an aggregate of 93%, I took the Karnataka CET and had applied for all the top engineering colleges in Karnataka. From the sample round till the final round I was allocated seat in PES University with a rank of 4000.

Faculty consists of professionals of various age groups.Practical knowledge and teaching ways are commendable.Running notes and PPT presentation made by the professors were useful in the preparation of all the tests.
