Remarks

The placements should be improved as it is the only state government college in Jharkhand. There should be a college owned Gym. The infrastructure needs a lot of improvement. Placement have gone down in the past few years.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is is very wisely selected so that a student can relate the concepts with the practical world. This course is choosen to exhibit reasoning, analytical decision making and problem solving skills by applying innovative ideas, knowledge and research principles for handling dynamic real time challenges.

Placement Experience

3.5

This college is best in case of return on investment. Placements are quite average. They do provide internship through internshala. The college provides stipend to the students whose financial status is not good. Scholarship is also there like E-Kaalyaan and others.

College Events

3

Techincal fest takes place in the month of April. The most anticipated event of the year, though it's only for the first year students,Their is sports club to manage the sports event. A cultural fest also takes place in February.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very much cost effective. Annually around 70k is spent on a student and that includes everything. The fees is veryuch feasible as they provide most of the things. The labs are well equipped with instruments. The classroom is in proper condition. They also provide scholarship for financially weak students. The tution fees is 14k which I think is very feasible and affordable for the most of us.

Fees and Financial Aid

E kalyaan is a well known scholarship provided here for economically weak students.I dont think any loan facility is provided here. And also the student who perform well in academics gets a scholarship for the tution fee.

Campus Life

4

The labs here are quite well furnished and equipped with equipments.Recently new labs have been inaugurated and latest systems have been installed. The sports club of our college are among the best clubs they manage all the sports events which takes place in college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes i have opted for Hostel.the infrastructure is quite good and the hostels have been renovated the previous year. The wifi facilities have not been provided yet but again we have a local lan connection.Even the mess is quite good provides good food.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni metwork is quite strong here. They help us in every possible manner.Even they fund us with scholarships.Alumnis are the backbone of the collge.A startup cell is present there most of the alumni helps us through that.

Admission

I got admission here through JCEC. An entrance exam which takes place after JEE Mains. I secured a rank of 299, hence I selected to pursue my graduation degree in Electrical Engineering. The counseling took place in Ranchi. Most of the students studying here are from Jharkhand. It is a state government college.

Faculty

3.5

It is a state government owned college. The infrastructure is quite old and not up to the mark. The fees compensates with that, I think basic facilities are provided here. But I seriously think that the college should be improved on ground basis.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my branch is Electronics and communication engineering but my major interest lies in development area , i have gained all the skills in my college by my own taking some guidance from the seniors as they are very helpful and supporting. Improvements in course curriculum could be like they have to basically add one more course or any training program to help students for making skills and teaching them for their placements.(apart of the course , i am saying not because i am from ECE department , its common from any branch student)
