Andhra University Review

The name of the University is good in rankings through out the country but the thing is they don't provide good quality of education and living to students. The evaluation of exams will be worst. For giving results of the exam they take minimum 6 months of time.

My course is Computer science and system engineering. It's a good course but the thing is the subjects are outdated. As many software languages are been updating they teach only the old one. So, this course curriculum should be updated. The examination is about 3 hours. The exam consists of short answers and long answers. The short one carry 2 Marks and long one carries 7 Marks.

The placements in this University are below average. On an average of 60 people class only 10-15 will be placed. They bring only 5-6 companies for recruiting students. The University doesn't provide any kind of internships.

There will events like Fresher party, Farewell party - which will be for the students who come and go to university. Department day - this will be for individual departments. Technical fest, cultural fest - this will be for complete University students and others also done by the University.

It's feasible for the students who come through Eamcet exam. It's very high for the AUCET Exam compared to people who come from Eamcet. In my opinion the fee structure is expensive. They won't provide good infrastructure.

The government will provide the scholarship. Students with the low background can only avail this. They have to apply for this at the time of joining only. There will be no kind of loans given by the Andhra University.

I am good at leading the class. I am class representative. I also conducted the technical and cultural fest in the University named as technograil. I am good at sports also we are winning team of cricket and runners of the volleyball.

The hostels are old one. They are constructed in 1980. Since then they maintain those. There will be no socket at all in the living rooms. The bathrooms are commons one. There will be no maintainance for them. The food provided is also low quality.

The alumni is good as it provides funds for the workshops conducted at the University. They also give some infrastructure to the classrooms and campus. The seniors are also helpful at the time of fests, conducting games and at the time of placements.

AUCET Examination conducted every year through out the state Andhra Pradesh. The merit one will get the admission.Through this merit base of AUCET I got admission. Then we are requested to submit all the documents. Then my seat is confirmed in this University.

There will be professors and lecturers in this University. Many times professors don't come to class to teach, instead they will send the lecturers or scholars who work under them. They won't complete the syllabus in time.
