Remarks
Positively the college is good enough to give you a better path to enjoy your life and to fulfill your dreams. But negatively, the campus life of the college is not at all so good. You will be bored after a fixed time.
Course Curriculum Overview
THE COURSES OFFERED ARE VERY UNIQUE LIKE SAFETY AND FIRE ENGINEERING. VERY UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT BRANCHES ARE THERE IN CUSAT LIKE NAVAL ARCHITECTURE,RUBBER TECH, ETC. THE ENTRANCE EXAM CONSISTS OF 250 QUESTIONS FROM MATHS, PHY, CHEMISTRY SECTIONS.
Placement Experience
The placements are quite better than the other engineering colleges. Many companies used to visit the campus. Even psus are the regular visitors. IOCL, GAIL, ONGC ETC USED TO COME EVERY YEAR AND OFFER VERY DECENT PACKAGE. COLLEGE PROVIDE INTERNSHIP IN 6th SEM. BUT I AM IN 5TH SEM. SO I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED IT.
College Events
Many fests and events are organised every year in my college. Tech fest named Dhishna is very much popular as it gives a chance for all thw bright students present there to get their talent recognised at a big level.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is moderate. For me, it is 3 lakhs 65 thousands for four years. So if you are from general category then your btech will cost you less than 4 lakhs which is quite affordable by anybody.
Fees and Financial Aid
In every semester, scholarships are provided to every bright and poor backgrounds students. Last year one of my batchmate got the scholarship of rs 12000 because he was from a poor bachground. His father was a farmer.
Campus Life
Extra-curricular activities are also given proper importance. The college organises sports events regularly to motivate those who have a passion of playing. Sports like cricket, football, chess are very much popular.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni of the college are working at a very decent positions and in very good companies. The connection with them is really very strong. They used to visit the campus at many events to motivate all other students.
Admission
I GOT ADMITED THROUGH CUSAT-CAT ENTRANCE EXAM IN WHICH I GOT 1406 RANK ALL OVER INDIA. EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO GIVE CUSAT CAT WHICH IS AN ONLINE EXAM FOR THE ENTRANCE TO GET ADMITTED TO THE COLLEGE.THE ADMISSION IS THOROUGHLY BASED ON THE RANK IN CUSAT CAT.
Faculty
THE FACULTIES ARE WELL EXPERIENCED. MOST OF THEM ARE POST GRADUATED AND THEY HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE. ALSO THEY ARE VERY MUCH COOPERATIVE WITH THE STUDENTS. THE WAY, THEY USED TO TEACH IS TOTALLY EQUIPED WITH MODERN FORMS OF TEACHING.
