Remarks
REC is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The campus is nice and beautiful and my overall experience with REC was good. The students are actively pushed maintaining a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is good, it covers all aspects of the management course. The Library was also very helpful in our studies. We have financial management and also the financial business.
Placement Experience
In our college, the placement cell is very active and has a good connection with outside of the academic world. They trained and advised the students so that when the recruiters come at pre-final, they will be prepared for it. Recruiting companies like Wipro, Aqua group, dart, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course duration of the MBA is 2 years. There are 4 semesters which means 2 semesters each in every year. So, the first year fee is INR 51,000. This includes another fee of INR 10000 and also includes tuition fees of the 2 semesters. But the fees for the 2nd year is only INR 41,000. So, the total fee for the whole course is INR 92,000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students are offered a lot of opportunities for scholarships, especially during the admission process. Students with good grades and students who have financial crises can avail of the scholarships. The scholarship was awarded on an annual basis.
Admission
To get admission to my college, applicants must take the entrance exam of TANCET. I applied for an MBA course, so taking the TANCET entrance exam was necessary. The mode of the exam is offline. I cleared the exam and also I have scored only 48% in my BA exam but I am eligible for admission because of the ST quota. And then I uploaded required documents and attended the Anna University counseling and then got the seats for the MBA course.
Faculty
The faculty of our college are very good in their own field, especially the faculty from my department are very friendly and they motivate us and teach us very well.
