REMARKS
The management is strict is some aspects but it is for better good of students though very less opportunity for exposure is provided in shirpur campus then Mumbai.
ENTRANCE PREVIEW
NPAT is the entrance exam conducted by college itself it has 3 parts aptitude, Logical Reasoning and very general maths (very logical not of 11 12th syllabus) marks were not displayed, Merit Rank 2444.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
Feasible if you think on a long run for shirpur campus college fee 2,40,000 hostel and mess 1,10,000 the total varies every around after deducting deposits it is around 350K.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
The shirpur campus is fully residential with both AC and NON AC rooms though very few AC rooms are available the room is shared between 4 people the mess serves variety of food and is hygenic and well maintained.
ALUMNI
Seniors are very helpful in campus there is nothing like ragging in college anti Ragging committee is formed and is very strict on this thing the hostel authorities don't allow first year to interact with seniors for first few months.
FACULTY
The faculty is very supportive and experienced the guest lectures are also schedule some of the faculties are from IITs being an residential campus many of the faculty member stays in campus and are available to help.
CAMPUS LIFE
Lots of activities and workshops are conducted guest Lectures are timely scheduled as the fees is bit on higher side, you will meet lots of people from rich families.
EXAM STRUCTURE
The term span is 15 weeks two sessional exams are conducted after 5 and 10 weeks final semester exam is scheduled after 15 weeks.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
This is a 5 year dual degree course in B.Tech MBA Tech degree is issued under the name of Narsee Moon JEE Institute of Management Studies the first 3 years can be done in either Shirpur or Mumbai last 2 years are compulsory for all in Mumbai.
INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
Compulsory Internship will be after 3rd and 5th year the internship after 3rd will be technical while the one after 5th will be managerial student have to find the companies for their internships though college provide assistance if they can't find any.
COLLEGE EVENTS
The college has two big fest, AMBIORA ( TECHNICAL FEST ) it organizes all the technical event with 50+types of competition both online and offline any student of any college can take part in the fest, PROTSAHAN ( CULTURAL AND SPORTS FEST ) it has cultural dance and drama performed by various groups of college more than 15 sports are played between all the branches and some sports are individuals too.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
None of the scholarship or loan facilty is available to my knowledge PNB does offer some discount on availing student loan from them if you take admission in NMIMS University.
