Remarks

The college is very strict regarding ragging and take serious action when found guilty of ragging juniors. Also the safety of women is the best that I have ever seen in any college. Also the attendance criteria of 75% is mandatory. Regular exams and vivas help students to be updated with the study.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Cource curriculum is a little old and so much advance. However, the basic of everything is in the curriculum. Cources like human values, cyber security etc adds up the quality of education. The UPTU conducts the semester exam in December & June.

Placement Experience

The placement are very good in the college. The average package is of 4.2 l.p.a and highest of 14 l.p.a. More than 100 companies visits the campus for recruitment. Capegimini and Accenture tips the list. The college does provide internship in India as well as abroad. However I haven't done any internship from the college side.

College Events

3.5

Events and activities done in the college are both traditional and technical. Technical events like Innotech and MUN etc are held once every year. Other than this, essay writing, debate, just a minute etc are conducted on semester basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not static. For BTech, it is approximately 1.2 l.p.a. However the college the worth the money paying for. Also the college has scholarship facility for financial weak students. The gets this privelage too.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does provide a facility of fee waiver that is you can take admission in the college with zero fee on the basis of your UPTU exam result or 12 result. Also you can apply for the scholarship that UP govt provides.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities including football club, dance club, drama club, innovative centre etc are available in the college that students can be a part of. The labs that the college offer is very advance and the lab Instructor are very cooperative and helpful.

Hostel Facilities

No, I haven't opted for the hostel but my friends tell me that the hostel facility is very good. The rooms are big enough and the food of the mess that the hostel is giving is very good in quality and taste as well.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors and alumni network is very good. There is a web that has all the alumni sharing their experience of industrial and commercial grounds. Here you can ask questions and can keep in touch with them.

Admission

The UPTU conduct an Exam for the entrance in all UPTU colleges. Coming in the merit list and attending the councelling process, then visiting the college for further admission process is the way to get into KIET.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very knowledgeable and helpful. Whenever you found yourself stuck in any problem, the will help you. Keeping in touch is also very easy. You can ask them your doubt through WhatsApp as well.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

My decision was I could say influenced by my elder brother and I don't regret taking admission here. I applied to all AKTU colleges got rejected only from IET LUCKNOW and KNIT SULTANPUR purely due to percentile reason Other than that I got all the colleges including BIET JHANSI. I chose this one due to placement of the 2022 batch. Admission happens here through JEE MAINS and DIRECT ADMISSION as well For my course if you are general then you should have atleast 90+ percentile if you are from home state that is UP. Direct Admission happens on the basis of 12th result for CSE you need near around 90 percentage...Read More
