Remarks

It is one of the best colleges in India. So getting admission in it is itself a postive remark. You will enjoy a very large campus. Students here are very intelligent and good. It has all the facilities, all the entertainment you want.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is very well prepared. There are 8 semester and syllabus is divided in a very good manner. Very helpful books are recommended. There are 2 exams in every semester - Mid sem and end sem. And the marks from both of them is added to the final GPA.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are at sky level in DTU. Around 100 companies visit out campus although mostly are software companies. Almost every student get placed till the end. If you have a hands on coding,getting placed is much easier. Other than that there are non tech and core branch companies. No, our college doesn't provide internship.

College Events

Aahvan, Engifest are some of the events. Aahvan is a sports fest which is at national level. Teams from all over india participate in that. Engifest is an official fest also It is the biggest fest of North India. Various celebrities are invited to entertain.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is a bit expensive. It is around 1.25L per annum but getting a loan is much easier for this college. If you belong to an economic weaker section, you may get some scholarship. Also fees is worth it, as after getting placed it will be your monthly income.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you belong to an economic weaker section, you may get some scholarship in which tution fees which costs 75k will be refunded from the yearly fees. Also if you are department ranker, you will get scholarship.

Campus Life

Nobody stops you to play any sport you like. Our Campus has a very large sports complex with facilities of every sport. You are open to do anything including any research work, making any projects in the labs with getting assistance from the teachers.

Hostel Facilities

No, Although I haven't opted for hostel. But getting hostel is bit difficult in DTU as your house should be at least 30 km away to get hostel. But Now More hostels are being constructed for benefits of students.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior Students are very helpful. In fact you should opt out a senior for guidance. You can get the study related, placement related instruction from them. Any time you can reach out to them and they will help you for sure.

Admission

I got admission through JEE mains. I got 10.4K rank in that to get admission in ECE branch in DTU. Exam pattern consists of three sections - Physics, Chemistry, Maths. You have to be expert in all three subjects to secure a good rank and get your desired branch.

Faculty

Faculty in DTU is very good. There are mostly PHDs, MScs who posses some great teaching skills. They are good at solving are doubts and have that passion to do hard work with the students. Any time you can approch their room for any doubt.

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Likes

College has many club and societies where you can get chance to participate.
College has good amenities for BTech students.
Faculty and college managements are supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Location is bit away from metro station.
College should provide more free shuttle bus service from metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Nsut college life

Likes

You get to meet different kind students from all over the northern states
Fest and events are organized at huge scale and you get a lot of exposure
Society is culture is very strong and you get huge opportunities

Dislikes

Academic is tough, depending on the brach the curriculum can get hectic
Teachers are strict and entry in college is forbidden after 6pm
Attendance criteria is strict due to which you dont get enough time for other things

Placement Experience:

College provides huge opportunities for placement Till now we have around 400 companies who visited our college and still the placements are going on so everyone in the end gets placed Highest package is around 60lpa and the average will be around 9-10 , As i said almost every one gets placed in the end till now 70% are placed

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

Likes

Faculty members are very good and friendly behaviour in nature
College timing is good 09.00 AM to 06.00Pm but gap in between lecture 2 to 3 hrs
Saturday and Sunday holiday it's a very good in college life

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not good bcoz our classes in maharshi kannad bhawan
Our college not provided hostel bcoz our building is under construction

Placement Experience:

Our college is started in 2023 So there was no placement My seniors were doing internship in DRDO Google as well as multinational companies My plan is to crack gate exam in 3rd yr and UPSC ESE exam in final year

Likes

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

I love the main campus of university established in dwarka sector 10

Dislikes

Sub Campus area of dseu okhla 2 campus is very small .
Canteen and food is worst not good water fasciltiy
Management a little bit and registrar rude behaviour

I recommend for diploma course to persuing from DSEU university and btech from gb pant campus only this is best campus only for bachelor of technology in computer science engineering, placement is also good for this college

Vast campus - one of the biggest campus in Delhi, great greenery , feels free to roam around
Exclusive course- among the fewest government colleges which provide chemical engineering
Less explored field- field is relatively new and evergreen, if done with perseverance, you can get great jobs

Dislikes

Long classes- a very hectic time table during the first semester
Too many Assingments- teachers give way too many Assignments
Exams start late in comparison to other government colleges

Placement Experience:

I would not suggest On Campus placement for this college as the placement cell is not very good here. However one can score a great package if they develop skills in the field of chemical engineering.

Placement Experience:

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
