Best for pursuing BSC and ba. And our college also provide with subjects practicals. We all have the right to choose our president. Buy they need to be Powerful in th war. If you live live in Dehradun must visit. sgrr

Course Curriculum Overview

It's a superb course it stronger your subject in which you got keen interest in. The exam structure is such that there are two exams in a semester first one is called internal and the second one called externals. You get credit according to your marks in particular subject. Credit must be above average to get admission in new year.

Placement Experience

No , our college don't provide any kind of internship. Our college provide NAAC certified degree of bsc ba and others. With that degree you are eligible to give any government examination and government jobs.

College Events

Since our college is Government College. We have politics everywhere when it's come to name of government half of our government is in politics. We celebrate different parties organzed by different to be elected president.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feesible its cost around 10 thousands to complete your BSC course of three years,. And ba courses of 3 years costs around 8 k including. Government usually keeps this College fees low so that everyone can afford.

Fees and Financial Aid

Bank offer education loan and even college to offer some children'sscholarship in sports and academics for bank to offer you loan u have to pay now. College in future may will provide better' atmosphere for learning.

Campus Life

We have all the curriular in our college but the best thing we have in our college is dedication regarding NCC and Spots. Our college had won many other activities like fest in which some celebrity come and sing nd dance

Hostel Facilities

There is no College hostel. As offically for boys there is one for girls. But like always they are biased. the girls hostel is very is luxurious type appratment with fully furnished.One room is shared by two friends.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the College alumni is very helpful they always help fresher and any students in need. Because they need votes it's one of the main reason they always shows politeness to everyone. I only the background of the stroy.

Admission

Online form submission opens as soon as the results comes out On the basis of your 12 marks you get selected in merit list. And after wards admission. The cut off is on the basis of your desired subject if you want BSC pcm you should have aggregate of 80+ in pcm. Like wise same for every subject.

Faculty

The faculty as such is not very good as it is a government college teacher comes only for quality money not qaulity teaching. Same goes for the students they also don't show up regularly caused everyone is busy doing his and her separate courses.

My honest review of MBPG College

Likes

Being a government college the fees are very low and student friendly most teachers are knowledgeable supportive and clear in explanation focus on studies exam and all over all discipline
Open ground greenery and enough space to relax between classes decent collection of academic books and difference material
Easy to reach from different part of Haldwani lesson unnecessary pressure more focus on its education

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old type som building needs to get repair
Campus placement opportunity are very few from classroom slabs and building need renovation
Not many model amenties compared to private colleges office works can be slow

The curriculum follows kumaun University guidelines ensure standardization and recognition core subjects are well structured and concept curriculum should a include more practical exposure projects work and field work examination are conducted semester wise and generally twice year internal assessments include test assignments and practicals during the semester

Likes

Social life is good with feat happening around in college.
Wifi is provided in our building and the hostel.
Infrastructure of our new hostel and our labs is good

Dislikes

Teachers are qualified but the quality education is not good
Too much restriction on girls but boys are free to roam at night.
Mess food is just acceptable not that good.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students need to be atleast in last or second last semester of the course. But for internship it's fine even if student is in 1st or 2nd yr. But most of teh students here decided to pursue master from here only and I still don't know have exact idea hown many students got placed in th companies.

Likes

Social interaction with others in college is appreciable
Lab is fully equipped for experiments or practicals

Dislikes

Campus of our college is not too good and small
Absence of ac in library and other needed areas
Quality of infrastructure of classes is little bit poor

Placement Experience:

When one enters the final semester they become eligible for campus placement and many companies offers and discusses with them. Companies such as IGL, Vib care pharma, AVANTOR and many others visits every year with offers.

Likes

I like the hostel security and there are no ragging
Good teachers and friendly. Helping us lot.
Good infrastructure and better environment..

Dislikes

Hostel food is not so good. Small hostel room

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester student are eligible for placement. There are various plywood industries and forest base non Timber industries and cricket industries. The highest average package is like 4.5 lakh per year.

Likes

I liked mostly the environment of my college. College. was situated in hills . So the peace , the environment, weather, education everything was perfect. The rooms , library, the field of our college
The education system of our college was good .I liked the most the education system every faculty was good and take responsibility of each students.the teaching was of faculty was superb . Every we understand easily. The also teach us on ppt .
Department of science,arts each department was available and a big auditorium for function parties was there. Each subject lab also there . lab instruments lso available

Dislikes

One thing was I disliked was due to cold weather or snowfall dec to february college is closed.
I disliked the book issue system it takes maximum time to get a book from my college.
The period was too long . Not only 1 hour it almost 2 hour classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chooses the best course. Because my faculty was good I can ask him freely if I have any doubt. And it increases my interest in my subject. And the experiment we do make us progressive for our future. Yes but one thing I will say the duration of time period will be increase

Life at SGRR PG college.

The admission is based on the merit list which is based on the marks of graduation. I applied to few colleges in Dehradun along with SGRR and got selected in all but when it came to finalizing one college to start my masters I went through all the applied colleges physically and explore the college and its faculties. After all that, I found SGRR PG is amongst the better option for me. The teaching faculties of the Economics department are very cooperative and supportive. The infrastructure of the college is better and well maintained compared to other colleges. During the admission process, the HOD of my department took a short interview of mine which was really appreciable and informative for me.
