Remarks

There is a need to improve infrastructure at some level. Otherwise it is a good place to learn and grow. No discrimination based on marks and all. So every student gets the chance to improve themselves

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a nice place to learn and spend 4 years of engineering. It is a good place to start carrier. The placements are also good. Apart of studies, we get to learn many things like cultural activities and workshops of latest technologies

Placements are good here and unfortunately college does not provide any internships but due to the latest rule by government, every student has to have 3 internships done in the final year of their academic career

College Events

Alacrity is annual event being organized in the college. It is a 4 day mega event which includes sports, cultural and technical events as well as workshops. Then at department level, every department conducts an interdepartmental event during the period of august

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible as compared to other instituitions present in the city. Affordable fees along with scholarships. Normal student can enroll for admission here with the fees of around 80 thousand an year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many schemes being run by government and college provides the scholarships to all students who actually fall under the appropriate criteria. Irrespective of what the caste of student is, he/she can avail for the benefits.

Campus Life

In my college, we had various sports teams at both interdepartmental and college level at these were not limited to one or two games only but for the variety of games that includes cricket and football.

Hostel Facilities

Didn't opted for hostel but got to know from other friends regarding the facilities provided in the hostel. The hostel is 12 km away from the college but college has arranged pick and drop facilities for the students

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

All my seniors were very helpful in supporting us in our academic growth and involvement in other curricular activities running throughout the college as well as at the department level so we didn't face much problems

Admission

I had gone through JEE Mains exam and later got this place in enrollment process. Then in second round of the process, i got Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering here. The process was according to the cumulative average or 12th and JEE mains marks

Faculty

Faculties of this college are quite helpful and supportive in nature. They are very experienced in their respective fields. apart from studies , they encourage us to take part in other activities as well which further helps in future.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

Dislikes

college have no placement for the students
college having some times electricity short
college have some students water issue for drinking

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

I chose this college because it is one ofthe top 10 colleges in pune. And year on year demand for this college is increasing. # years back there was only 1 batch for Computer engineering. Last year there were 2 batches and currently this year a total of 3 batches are there for Computer engineering. And similar for other branches also. Admission Process: 1. Visit college for document verification. 2. A link will be provided to enter details regarding admission (Educations details, Communicational Details, Gaurdian Details etc........). Its a very long form which can be filled at home also before document verification or else after document verification it can be filled in college.
