Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum at AISSMS IOIT Pune is comprehensive and offers a solid foundation in computer engineering specific topics like data structures, algorithm and networking influenced my decision to choose this course. While it prepares students well for entry-level roles in tech, the curriculum could benefit from more emphasis on emerging Technologies like AI and machine learning. Exams are held every semester with a fair level of difficulty. However the inclusion of more practical-based assessments would enhance real world application readiness.

Placement Experience

4

The placement process at AISSMS IOIT Pune starts from the seventh semester with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Accenture frequently visit the campus, with many students securing multiple offers. The average package is around 4 to 6 LPA, while the highest package offered can go up to 10 lpa typically for roles in software department. Around 80% of students get placed. After graduation i plan to pursue a career in software development and may also consider higher studies or certifications to enhance my skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for computer engineering at AISSMS IOIT Pune ?1,20,000 applicable for students in the general category. The fee structure includes tuition fees and there are no additional compulsory charges like lab fees registration fees or development fees. The fees generally increase by a certain percentage annually but there is no clear indication of the exact increment each year. For students in SC/ST or other reserve categories There are scholarship based on income which may cover partial or full tuition these financial aids help reduce the fee burden for eligible students.

Campus Life

4

Campus life at ASSMS IOIT is vibrant with several opportunities for social engagement the annual techfest "techovation" and the cultural fest "sanskriti" are held in March and February respectively. The library is well stocked with wide range of books and journals for academic and research purposes. Classrooms are equipped with modern technology including projectors and Wi-fi. Sports facilities are good with events like Cricket, Football and Basketball. Various students run clubs like the coding club and robotics club, foster skill development and teamwork, enhancing the overall student experience

Admission

I chose AISSMS IOIT Pune over other colleges because of its strong placement record, modern infrastructure and well structured computer engineering programme. I applied to VIT Pune, MIT Pune and COEP but secured admission only in AISSMS IOIT. My rejection from COEP was due to a lower score in entrance exam. The admission process involves eligibility based on 12th board marks and JEE mains score. But cut off rankings for JEE varying annually. The process was smooth with transparent counselling and document verification.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio at Aissms IOIT Pune is quite reasonable allowing for good interaction between students and professor faculty member are generally appreciable and most of them are knowledgeable and willing to help student. Professors like Dr S.N. Patil and Professor A.B. Joshi are particularly appreciated to their expertise and teaching method. The exam system is semester based with theoretical and practical exams while the exams are challenging more student clear them with adequate preparation. The course curriculum is relevant but could use more focus on emerging technologies.

Night Life

5

Nightlife around AISSMS IOIT Pune is relatively calm but enjoyable. The campus and hostel areas have strict timings with the hostel gates closing by 10:00 PM the cafeteria usually closes by 9:30 PM and the library closes by 8:00 PM. However students often unwind at popular hangout spots like fc road where cafes like Chaiwala and Vaishali stay open late. The locality is generally safe to roam around at night though its advisable to stay in groups. The gym offers evening hours providing a space for relaxation post study. The activities help balance the stress of academic and contribute to a vibrant campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
