REC Banda, B.Tech

Remarks

It is overall a nice college, anyone can get it after getting a decent rank in UPSEE, one thing i would like to recommend that if someone wants to prepare for future studies or some civil preparations, then it's a good choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course Curriculum is good, few current course of industry are also added. Exam structure is also satisfactory, basically it is a semester based, exam are conducted at the end of each semester.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes, REC Banda provides internship to it's all students, students are filtered through many parameters like their academics record, skills, achievement, technical knowledge, involvement in college's activities.

College Events

3.5

National Hackathon- HackTech, Literary and Fine Arts Annual Fest- Muktakash, Cultural Fest- Reverb, Technical Fest- Avatar, FDPs and Many Short term courses on wide range of technologies and Entrepreneurship as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is not that much expensive, It is totally feasible. Somewhere around 70-80k. Hostel facility is good, Hostel is inside the campus. UP scholarship facility is also good for those having family's annual salary lesser than 2 Lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

UP scholarship is available for all those students whose family's annual income is lesser than 2 Lakh. They can apply for it, submit the documents, after the verification the scholarship is credited to them.

Campus Life

3.5

They are good, students actively organize and participate really with a good pace of energy. Labs are also good, Lab assistants are not up to the mark in terms of knowledge, but anyhow, they are like ok.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, i have opted for hostel facilities. It is satisfactory, each hostel has its separate mess, working staff is good. It's fees is around 10k for hostel for whole year and 27k for mess Annually.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, REC banda is also having good alumni network, Alumni meet is organized every year. Along with alumni meet, Industry - Institute meet is also conducted. It is helpful, juniors students stay connected with the seniors for job and query related things

Admission

I have given the entrance exam known as UPSEE, which is conducted every year for taking admissions in multiple courses in Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. REC Banda is one of the best constituent colleges of APJ AKTU.

Faculty

Faculty is also good, they are well qualified. Many of them have their P.hd and M.Tech from the elite institutes of India, They are somehow good in their field, Lots of expert lectures are also organized on a regular basis.

“A Good College for Learning and Growth”

Likes

Being a CSE student I get the opportunity to learn about computer science and improve my skills The college experience also helps me understand the importance of practical knowledge

Dislikes

The placement support could be improved especially by providing more opportunities for students to get internships and jobs in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers important subjects related to computer science and programming. It gives basic technical knowledge, but more practical learning is needed. Exams are held every semester, along with internal tests and practicals. Some subjects are easy, while others need more preparation. Overall, the course is good, but adding more real-world projects would help students learn better.

"The Place for Unlocking Potential"

Likes

Firstly the environment is what I liked the most when I first joined the college cause this type of greenery and atmosphere is very less found
Secondly it would be the seniors , the seniors are really helpful at times of need and are really friendly
Thirdly it would be how the education system work , there isn't an overload of assignment or projects on the student , so it's very easy to focus on our studies

Dislikes

Personally it would be a long distance for me ...cause travelling by bus consumes a lot of time and energy
The thing I disliked the most would be the people around me and their way of thinking cause I just don't like the way they converse . I don't know about a few of them but most of the people I met are really sweet and soft spoken
Lastly it would be the fee structure for me ...cause being a private institution it can offer a more affordable fee structure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I chose B. Tech in data science and artificial intelligence is because nowadays we know how AI has its influence over almost every field and every company requires a candidate who is well known about AI . Particularly I opted for data science because I wanted to be a data analyst from the start cause it just fascinates me about how differently we can see and arrange data in so many ways and also the market value of being a data analyst is quite high nd not easily found
